Everyone’s favorite ineligible quarterback is back — well, almost.
Season two of Chad Powers will premiere all of its episodes at once on Thursday, Sept. 3 on Hulu, the streaming service announced on Wednesday. The 2026 college football season — the real one — begins five days earlier. (For what it’s worth, the NFL regular season starts six days after Chad Powers returns).
Chad Powers (Glen Powell) is a superstar on the field but his odd behavior off it has everyone suspicious — especially Coach Hudson (Steve Zahn) and Gerry (Colton Ryan), the season two synopsis reads. The walls are closing in on Russ’s (also Powell) lie, and if he and Danny (Frankie Rodriguez) want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the College Football Playoff, the only person who can help them is the last person who wants to: Ricky (Perry Matfield). Chad Powers also stars Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd and Wynn Everett as Tricia Yeager.

The half-hour comedy series, produced by 20th Television for Hulu, is based on the Eli’s Places series from ESPN and Omaha Productions. Powell and writer Michael Waldron co-created the series. For season two, Eli Manning serves as executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz and Ben Brown, and ESPN’s Burke Magnus, Brian Lockhart and Craig Lazarus. Powell executive produces with his producing partner Dan Cohen under Barnstorm Productions. Waldron and Adam Fasullo executive produce for Anomaly Pictures. Luvh Rakhe also serves as executive producer.
Hulu also revealed some first-look photos for season two. One of them is especially creepy.
