Red lips are iconic, but pink pouts are quietly chic.
While many stars partner with beauty brands, we’re always curious what they actually have in their personal stashes. So, when Sarah Pidgeon’s makeup artist, Florrie White, spilled details, we were all ears.
In a recent Instagram post, the glam pro shared a breakdown of Pidgeon’s naturally pretty Milan Fashion Week look, which included a perfectly pink lip combo.
The actress — who plays Carolyn Bessette Kennedy in “Love Story” — uses a soft hue from another celebrity makeup artist’s line: Lisa Eldridge.
White, who also works with the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Dakota Fanning, captioned her recent post, “I followed her personal makeup bag by using @lisaeldridgemakeup.”
In addition to name-dropping the brand’s Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint, she said she plumped Pidgeon’s pout with 0N Sculpt & Shade Lip Pencil, followed by the Luxurious Lucent Lip Colour in Kitten Mischief.
The latter color is described as “playful light, buttery caramel pink tone” in a semi-sheer formula, which has near-perfect feedback from shoppers.
One reviewer calls it their “absolute favorite lipstick ever,” while another says the Kitten Mischief color “works perfectly with neutral makeup and looks beautiful.”
The Luxuriously Lucent lipstick also comes in nine other elegant shades. (Plus, the brand also offers a few other lip color finishes, from balmy to velvet.)
While Pidgeon’s exact “greige” lip liner shade, Café au Lait 0N, is currently sold out, Shade 1N — a clay brown with neutral undertones — is similar and perhaps even a little more wearable.
One review even confirms, reading, “0N was out of stock, and I purchased 1N instead, and it’s great. I love the formula!!” (The shopper isn’t alone, as several more customers rave about the liners’ long wear and pretty colors.)
While we will always love CBK’s signature ruby lipstick, Pidgeon’s pink hue is such a fresh lip look for spring — and sure to be flattering on nearly anyone.
