David Beckham has announced a huge new 20-year deal for the creation of fragrances amid his ongoing family feud with his eldest son Brooklyn.

The former footballer, 50, has entered into an exclusive license agreement with Interparfums, Inc to create new perfumes under his brand.

Speaking about the deal, David said: ‘With their outstanding reputation for craftsmanship in fragrance, I’m delighted to announce my partnership with Interparfums to evolve my fragrances for the long-term.

‘Together with their world-leading team, we will create products that are distinctive and timeless. I can’t wait to get started.’

Jean Madar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Interparfums, said: ‘We are delighted to collaborate with David Beckham, who embodies modern sophistication and timeless elegance shaped by determination, authenticity, and refined taste.

‘This milestone agreement further strengthens our relationship with Authentic Brands Group (‘Authentic’), the visionary company who co-owns and manages the David Beckham brand.

David Beckham has announced a huge new 20-year deal for the creation of fragrances amid his ongoing family feud with his eldest son Brooklyn

The deal comes after Brooklyn released a six page statement in which he said he did not want to reconcile with his parents and has ‘chosen’ a ‘peaceful’ life with his wife Nicola Peltz

‘Together, we will blend Beckham’s entrepreneurial influence with our fragrance expertise to inspire a richer world of style and self-expression through scent.

‘Guided by our dedication to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship, we will strengthen the global presence of Beckham’s existing fragrance lines and plan to unveil a new signature fragrance by the end of 2029.’

He is expecting major sales under the agreemnt, adding: ‘We estimate that total annual sales will exceed $50 million in the first years under our management.’

The deal comes after David and Victoria’s eldest son blew up their family feud last week with the release of a six page statement in which he said he did not want to reconcile with his parents and has ‘chosen’ a ‘peaceful’ life with his wife Nicola Peltz.

At the centre of Brooklyn’s statement was the allegation that his mum Victoria had ‘hijacked’ his first dance with Nicola at their 2022 wedding when Marc ‘called me to the stage.’

He went on to claim that his mum ‘danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.’

David has since given Marc a public show of support after the singer revealed that his wife Nadia Ferreira, 26, is expecting a baby – the musician’s eighth child.

The couple confirmed the happy news on Instagram, marking their third wedding anniversary with a photo of Nadia’s bump.

Among Marc’s 13.9million followers, David commented, tagging the couple and writing: ‘Soooooo excited ❤️❤️’.

David, along with his son Romeo, also liked a post from Marc earlier this week promoting his upcoming Las Vegas residency.

Meanwhile, as the Beckham family were in Paris this week to watch Victoria receive the Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters honour, Brooklyn and Nicola splashed out on dinner and wine at Meghan and Harry’s favourite California hotel.

The young couple were pictured kissing at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito.

There was a bottle of red open on the table and Brooklyn shared some pictures from the wine cellar, including one of the world’s finest, and most expensive dessert wines, worth £17,000 a bottle.

It is not known if the Peltz Beckhams bought the 1831 Château d’Yquem or the 1811 vintage next to it, which last sold at auction in 2012 for around £75,000.

Although if reports of Nicola’s £1million-a-month allowance from her billionaire father are to be believed, they could no doubt afford both.

Whatever they drank, the couple put on a show of unity – and romance – with a set of Instagram photos of their stay at San Ysidro, which can cost up to $2,595 a night.

As well as a number of images from dinner, Nicola was also shown lying in bed and walking the grounds with their dog. Foodie Brooklyn also shared pictures of the impressive kitchen garden allotment.

San Ysidro Ranch is just around the corner from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have also spent nights there.

David gave Marc Anthony a public show of support after it was revealed the singer was at the centre of the Brooklyn wedding drama

On Wednesday Marc, 57, who is a longtime family friend of David and his wife Victoria, revealed that his wife Nadia Ferreira, 26, is expecting a baby

David commented: ‘Soooooo excited ❤️❤️’ but some fans were shocked David is still on such friendly terms with Marc, so soon after his name was at the centre of Brooklyn’s statement

5,700 miles away in Paris, Brooklyn’s parents and siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper put on their own show of unity at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris.

While his name may not be as well known in pop culture as the Beckhams, Nicola’s father Nelson Peltz’s wealth eclipses that of his co-parents-in-law, with the businessman boasting a net worth of $1.6billion, in comparison to the Beckhams’ $680million.

Speaking on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Marina Hyde said: ‘From what I hear I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent.

‘Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this but I hear that he said to them that “I give my daughter a million dollar a month allowance.”

‘The one thing they [the Beckhams] didn’t think their children would be doing would be the ones signing the prenuptial, they thought it would be the other way round.’

Nicola, who started acting in 2006, has had a handful of minor roles in the likes of The Last Airbender and Transformers.

Last year she made her writing and directorial debut as well as casting herself in her first leading role in her movie Lola, whilst she has recently been promoting her role in the 2026 thriller Pretty Ugly.

Brooklyn meanwhile has pursued a range of career paths over the years from chef to releasing a photography book.

Nicola and her husband have been enjoying a romantic getaway in Malibu days after he publicly cut ties with his family.

The Beckham clan appeared determined not to allow their family drama to overshadow Victoria’s achievement, as she was presented with the prestigious accolade by the French Ministry of Culture on Monday.

The award recognises the individual contributions of artists, writers, and cultural figures to the arts and literature, and previous recipients include Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law and Denis Villeneuve.

And in her acceptance speech, the Spice Girl made a special mention to her children, as she thanked them for ‘always believing in my vision’, despite Brooklyn’s recent vitriolic claims against her.

The addition of Lady Beckham’s name to the Order of Arts and Letters will be the latest significant family event to be snubbed by Brooklyn, whose recent statement confirmed any residual ties with his family have been severed.

The influencer had previously skipped his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration and the London launch of his mother’s Netflix show.

Perhaps more significantly, both he and Nicola were absent as David – accompanied by Victoria, his own parents and three remaining children – travelled to Windsor Castle for his long awaited investiture on November 4.

The family have maintained a stoic silence since Brooklyn released a damning statement in which he outlined his reasons for cutting ties with his family.

The influencer went as far as to say he has been ‘controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else’ and that since being with his wife Nicola, he has found ‘peace and relief’ after battling crippling anxiety.

There was no sign of trouble on Monday as David and Victoria joined three of their children in Paris – the family’s first appearance since Brooklyn’s scathing statement

He wrote: ‘I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.

‘Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.

‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.

‘For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.

‘The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.

‘Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.’

He continued: ‘My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.

‘My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.

‘Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.

‘They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated.

‘My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.’

Brooklyn Beckham’s statement in full

I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.

I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.

Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.

My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.

Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.

They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.

During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me “evil” because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.

The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.” Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.

Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer.

My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.

She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.

My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one. My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.

Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him. He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.

When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.

My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family “love” is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.

We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family.’ But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.

The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.

I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.
