The bitter fallout appeared to be forgotten on Tuesday as Brooklyn Beckham enjoyed more of the ‘peace and relief’ he’s found since cutting ties with his family – this time over a glass of the world’s most expensive wine.
The cooking influencer, 26, publicly confirmed his relationship with parents David and Victoria is effectively over in a six-page statement packed with lurid details, released across social media last Monday.
And he appeared happy to let the dust settle while unwinding with actress wife Nicola Peltz at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s favourite hotel – San Ysidro Ranch in the heart of the Sussexes local stomping ground, Montecito.
While the estranged Beckham family attend Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris – where Victoria was made a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters on Monday evening – Brooklyn and Nicola enjoyed some time away at the luxury venue, where rooms range from £2,245 to as much as £9,069 a night.
Taking to Instagram, the couple gave followers a glimpse at their no-expense-spared trip to the Californian retreat – including their indulgent choice of rare and incredibly pricey table wine.
Described as an ‘extremely rare and historic vintage’, the 1831 Château d’Yquem could set you back an average $23,000 (£16,687) a bottle, with prices typically driven by demand at auction due to its scarcity.

The vintage made history as the world’s most expensive wine in 2011 after a 200-year-old bottle was sold for an astonishing £75,000.
On Tuesday, Brooklyn shared a photo of two dusty bottles of the almost impossible to find wine before settling down to a boozy, romantic dinner with his wife and their pet dog, Nala.
Not that money is an issue, with Nicola, 31, understood to be in receipt of a $1million a month allowance from her billionaire father Nelson.
The staggering allowance is in stark contrast to the financial support Nicola’s husband was thought to receive from his own parents.
While his name may not be as well known in pop culture as the Beckhams, Nelson Peltz’s wealth eclipses that of his co-parents-in-law, with the businessman boasting a stunning net worth of $1.6billion, in comparison to the Beckhams’ $680million.
Speaking on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Marina Hyde said: ‘From what I hear I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent.’
‘Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this but I hear that he said to them that “I give my daughter a million dollar a month allowance”.
‘The one thing they [the Beckhams] didn’t think their children would be doing would be the ones signing the prenuptial, they thought it would be the other way round.’

San Ysidro Ranch has been previously used by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as a venue to give tell-all interviews.
The fact that social media chef Brooklyn and actress Nicola are staying there once again illustrates parallels between the two couples who have both fallen out with relatives.
The hotel which once hosted Winston Churchill on a writer’s retreat, as well as John F and Jackie Kennedy, is just a few minutes drive from Harry and Meghan’s home at Montecito.
Guests at the hideout in the heart of California’s wine country have also included a host of Hollywood stars including Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Harry, 41, famously used the grounds of the hotel as a backdrop for his bombshell CNN interview with Anderson Cooper before the release of his book Spare in January 2023.

Meghan, 44, was also interviewed by Variety and posed for a photoshoot for the magazine at the hotel in October 2022 when she spoke of how she shared a ‘warmth’ with the late Queen.
Brooklyn’s stay at the hotel comes just days after his long-running family feud exploded in spectacular fashion when he took to Instagram to reveal a series of stunning allegations about his parents and ‘the truth’ behind their glossy brand.
His visit to the spot used by Harry to promote his ghostwritten memoir has also fuelled suggestions that the England football legend’s son is considering writing his own book.
Sources have revealed that Brooklyn now has a deal ‘firmly in play’ to write a book in the style of Harry’s Spare, revealing the difficulties of growing up as part of the Beckham brand and his fall out with his celebrity parents.
He is said to have noted how Spare sold more than 3.2million copies worldwide and became the fastest selling non-fiction book in the UK since records began.

A source said: ‘He’s seen how well the book did for Harry… Same publisher. Same idea of finally telling your truth. That’s not a coincidence.’
Nicola, who started acting in 2006, has had a handful of minor roles in the likes of The Last Airbender and Transformers.
Last year she made her writing and directorial debut as well as casting herself in her first leading role in her movie Lola, whilst she has recently been promoting her role in the 2026 thriller Pretty Ugly.
Brooklyn meanwhile has pursued a range of career paths over the years from chef to releasing a photography book.
Nicola and her husband have been enjoying a romantic getaway in Malibu days after he publicly cut ties with his family.
The eldest son of David and Victoria publicly denounced his family last week in a scathing six-page statement where he accused his parents of ‘controlling’ him, trying to ruin his marriage and humiliating him.
While the rest of the Beckhams gathered in Paris this week to support Victoria, 51, as she received a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters, Brooklyn made it clear where his loyalties lie.

Set to Coldplay’s Yellow, Brooklyn declared his love to Nicola once more as he wrote: ‘I love you Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham.’
The couple were joined by their dog Lamb as they walked along Malibu Beach, enjoyed dinners and even had a champagne toast.
Looking in the midst of marital bliss, Brooklyn showed no signs of strain of the aftermath of posting his bombshell statement, which according to reports, has left Victoria ‘devastated’.
The Beckham clan appeared determined not to allow their family drama to overshadow Victoria’s achievement, as she was presented with the prestigious accolade by the French Ministry of Culture on Monday.
The award recognises the individual contributions of artists, writers, and cultural figures to the arts and literature, and previous recipients include Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law and Denis Villeneuve.
And in her acceptance speech, the Spice Girl made special mention of her children, as she thanked them for ‘always believing in my vision’, despite Brooklyn’s recent vitriolic claims against her.
