Reece Weaver is trading in her cowboy boots for Broadway — and she’s bringing her signature glam along for the ride.
The former DCC cheerleader has always seemed destined for stardom, whether she’s doing her infamous jump splits, posting flower arranging videos on Instagram or teaching a cheer combo dance class wearing a Halara exercise dress from her own collection.
And this week, she announced she’ll be joining the cast of “Chicago” as Roxie Hart, succeeding Whitney Leavitt in the acclaimed production. So with all that dancing on her agenda, we had to know how she keeps her glam looking flawless.
“My biggest tip for long-lasting makeup is to use setting spray throughout your entire makeup routine, not just at the end,” she told Page Six Style, naming One/Size’s On ’Til Dawn Setting Spray and Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray as her favorites.
“I like to lightly mist my face after different steps of my application, and I’ve found that layering setting spray this way helps lock everything in,” she added, calling the hack a “game-changer for keeping my makeup looking fresh, sweat-resistant and smudge-proof all day.”
When it comes to the rest of her makeup bag, Weaver also has her go-to lineup down to a science. She tells us her “top five favorite” products include Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder, Dibs Beauty GlowTour Duo and Rare Beauty Harmony Eyebrow Gel, plus Tarte’s CC Under-Eye Color Corrector and Maracuja Juicy Lip Liner.

“I always planned my hair wash schedule around game day,” she said of her time as a pro cheerleader. “I would wash my hair about two days beforehand because I’ve found that slightly ‘lived-in’ hair holds products and curls so much better.”
Now, as a professional dancer preparing for Broadway, Weaver is also keeping her skin care regime streamlined.
