Brandi Cyrus is officially off the market after Matt Southcombe proposed.
The 38-year-old took to Instagram on Friday, Dec. 26, to announce her engagement, sharing a series of heartfelt photos capturing the special moment.
One striking black-and-white shot shows Southcombe dropping to one knee beside his motorcycle, while Brandi – the eldest daughter of Tish Cyrus, 58, and older sister to Miley Cyrus, 33 – beams brightly as he surprises her.
Other snaps capture Brandi leaning in to kiss her fiancé as he presents the ring box, followed by images of the couple showing off her new engagement ring against a sunset backdrop.
Brandi is the final of the Cyrus sisters to get engaged.
Her youngest sister, Noah, became engaged to German designer Pinkus in June 2023, while Miley confirmed her engagement to musician Maxx Morando in early December after four years together.

In her engagement announcement, Brandi added, ‘It’s been the craziest, biggest year of my life and I get to close it out saying YES to forever with my dream man… @mattsouth.’
She continued, ‘I’m so thankful everyday that my flight got cancelled and I walked into this coffee shop one afternoon and found you.
‘You’re my very best friend and everything I’ve spent my whole life looking for. I love you forever!!!’
The couple’s happy news quickly drew congratulations from family and friends.
Her mother Tish showed her support with a simple, ‘❤️❤️❤️,’ while Bachelor Nation star Ashley Iaconetti commented, ‘Awww CONGRATULATIONS!! ❤️❤️.’
It’s unclear exactly when Brandi and Matt began dating, but they went Instagram official on Southcombe’s account in October 2024.
The news comes after Tish revealed she plans to celebrate the holidays with husband Dominic Purcell and their blended brood, despite lingering drama surrounding her controversial romance.
Tish and the Prison Break actor, 54, tied the knot in August 2023 at daughter Miley Cyrus’ home – a ceremony notably skipped by Noah Cyrus amid reports of tension.
The drama erupted after claims surfaced that Purcell had previously ‘hooked up’ with Noah, 26, before beginning his relationship with her mother.
While Noah was said to be ‘very distraught’ at the time, the family has since worked toward reconciliation.
Now, Tish says the focus is firmly on togetherness as she prepares to host Christmas with all five of her children and Dominic’s four.
‘The more the merrier, I just love everyone being together,’ Tish said on the latest episode of the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, which she co-hosts with daughter Brandi.
Tish also opened up about how the holidays have evolved now that her children are grown.
‘I absolutely love Christmas and love the holidays,’ she said. ‘But it keeps looking different every year. It gets a little harder, I think, when the kids are older and everybody’s got different families that they have to be with for the holidays.’
The mom of five – including Trace and Braison – grew reflective as she looked back on earlier years, adding, ‘It was so much fun when the kids were little. Five kids and they’re all super young and it was just such a magical time.
‘My mom was always with us, and it was just so great.’
While she admitted she’s unsure whether Brandi, Trace, and Braison will all be in town this year, Tish confirmed that both Miley and Noah will be spending Christmas with her and Dominic.
‘[It] is always really, really tough for me,’ she said. ‘I really miss just everybody being together at once. But again, they have significant others now, and it’s kind of like this juggle.’
Still, Tish insisted the holiday spirit remains strong.

There have been differing reports about whether there was anything going on between Noah and Dominic, however People claimed they were ‘seeing each other’ and had ‘hooked up’ before he ended up marrying her mother.
Meanwhile, Prison Break star Dominic’s love life has garnered attention, from a BDSM relationship with actress AnnaLynne McCord to a whirlwind romance with Jodhi Meares.
Before his relationship with Tish, Dominic was involved in an on-again off-again romance with AnnaLynne.
The former 90210 star, 36 – who is 17 years Dominic’s junior – has spoken openly about their relationship, which spanned 10 years from 2011 until early 2020.
The couple first went public with their romance in July 2011, but split in 2014 after three years of dating, before getting back together in 2016.
They broke up again in 2018, before sparking rumours they had rekindled things in 2020, but AnnaLynne later insisted that they were just friends.

AnnaLynne previously revealed how BDSM played a major role in their on/off relationship, describing Dominic as a ‘big, strong, angry Aussie’ in a 2021 interview with sexual health platform Giddy.
She told the publication Dominic was the first person to break through the walls she’d put up due to her history of sexual abuse and trauma.
AnnaLynne said she started exploring BDSM and bondage with Dominic as a way to overcome her numbness.

Even though Noah and Dominic had stopped seeing each other when his relationship with Tish started: ‘Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.’
It has also been claimed by Entertainment Tonight that Tish ‘hired security’ to keep Noah away from the wedding.
Us Weekly claimed that their fallout occurred after Tish began ‘pursuing’ Dominic, who was reportedly romantically involved with Noah for ‘about 8 to 9 months.’
Dominic and Noah, who have a 30 year age gap, were said to be ‘having issues.’
However, a family insider told Dailymail.com last month that Noah had ‘fabricated details’ of a relationship with Dominic.
‘Noah never dated Dominic and they were not together,’ the insider said. ‘She is delusional to think otherwise and is trying to create a narrative that will paint her as a victim.’
The source added of the rift: ‘Noah has always craved the attention because she did not get it growing up. Tish was always so Miley-sided because that is where the money was.’
It has been claimed Tish is allegedly ‘spiraling out of control and trying to figure out how to diffuse’ the rift with her daughter.
The mom-of-five reportedly wants to repair their relationship, but despite her best efforts, an insider told Us Weekly that the duo are still ‘on the outs’ and the family ‘rift is real.’
‘Noah and Tish haven’t spoken since the whole thing happened with Dominic,’ the source noted.
It has also been been reported that Noah has remained ‘very loyal’ to her father, Billy Ray, after her parents’ split, while sisters Miley and Brandi sided with their mother (Tish, Noah, Miley, Billy Ray and Brandi pictured in 2017)
At one point, the outlet claims the duo briefly blocked each other via social media when this ‘all this started,’ but have since re-followed each other.
Tish – who revealed she suffered a ‘complete psychological breakdown’ before her divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus, 62 – wed Prison Break actor Dominic last summer.
While some family members, including daughter Miley, were present for her wedding, Tish’s daughter Noah and son Braison were absent from the nuptials – fueling speculation of a rift at the time.
A source told Us Weekly that ‘Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him’ and ‘was aware’ of this when she began to contact the star.
‘The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her,’ the insider added.
Billy and Tish officially divorced after 30 years of marriage in 2022 and have since moved on with new partners.
Billy married Australian singer, Firerose, last year in October during an ‘ethereal celebration of love.’
