Ameesha Patel has always been close to the Deols. Not just with her Gadar and Gadar 2 co-star Sunny Deol but also Dharmendra and Bobby Deol. In fact, she calls them her family and not co-stars. So it is not a surprise for her to feel extremely happy and proud about Bobby Deol’s recent successes. Talking to BL on the latest episode of Spotlight of Smrity, the actress spoke about the love and appreciation that Bobby has been receiving since the past two years. She calls him the quintessential Bollywood star and says that he deserves a lot more love and work than he has got so far.
“I think Bobby deserves a lot more work than the industry gives him. He’s a phenomenal actor and he has proved it time and time again. He is good looking. He is the quintessential Indian hero. He is a great dancer, performance, he handles action, comedy, romance, emotion all really well. He did so well in Animal. I mean 10 minutes of him on the screen and everyone was blown. He definitely deserves a hell of a lot more,” feels Ameesha.
