Bobbi Brown is celebrating her 69th birthday today — and the powerhouse makeup maven is gifting us.
Her Jones Road Beauty brand just dropped its cheekiest new product yet: The Blushing Stick, a multipurpose formula designed to melt into skin seamlessly.
The innovative brand is known for designing makeup with benefits, so it’s no surprise the latest color drop is chock-full of ceramides, antioxidants and botanicals to support the skin barrier.
But luxe ingredients are hardly the only reason to try the buildable, creamy and long-wearing colors, which make you look instantly put together. (Oh, and they can be used on the lips as well.)
The buildable sticks come in the same universally flattering, wearable shades that helped make Brown a makeup icon; think nude pink, dusty rose, peachy coral and plumy berry. (The color Bare is Bobbi’s personal favorite.)
For the first time, the “Still Bobbi” author also chose to work with a celeb ambassador on the launch —influencer, mom and model, Emily DiDonato (who has 2.8 million followers on Instagram alone).
DiDonato’s blush obsession earned her the title of CBO (Chief Blush Officer) with Jones Road. And it was truly a labor of love, as she even created the bespoke shade Joy, a sheer raspberry, while working with the brand on the formula.
“Joy is a sheer but buildable, deep berry tone — almost like a sun-kissed, sunburnt berry,” Didonato shared via a press release.
The buildable hue gives cheeks a natural flush — and though it looks deep in the tube, the newly-dubbed CBO swears it’s sheer enough to look natural.
We were lucky enough to score a few of these purse-friendly sticks early — and color us impressed.
The pigment swipes on effortlessly while feeling almost like a serum stick, and yet, it still looks fresh a full 16 hours later. These are an instant glow-and-go hack.
Brown has shared many times that she wants to deliver maximum impact in as little time as possible, especially for busy women who may be running out the door and want a goof-proof glow up.
With the Blushing Sticks, Jones Road has delivered on that once again — yet they’re chic enough for evenings out, too.
