Blue Ivy Carter, 13, channeled superstar mom Beyoncé’s early 2010s style when she sat courtside with dad Jay-Z at the Lakers vs. Spurs game on Wednesday.
Carter wore burgundy Isabel Marant wedge sneakers — the same Bekett style that Queen Bey made famous in her 2011 “Love on Top” music video and was frequently photographed wearing while out with baby Blue in 2012.
The teen paired the throwback footwear with a Balenciaga leather racer jacket, Diesel’s 1DR Iconic Shoulder Bag in denim and crystals ($875) and The Attico’s Fern Cargo Pants (on sale for $847) for the game at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.
She wore her hair blown out straight in a silk press and her makeup soft and minimal — glam that summoned instant side-by-side comparisons to a young Bey on social media.
Wedge sneakers have been making a comeback among Gen Z and Gen Alpha fashion enthusiasts, with the divisive style even landing on Lyst’s top 10 “world’s hottest products” list earlier this year.
But Carter’s specific pair appears to be from the brand’s original release rather than from its reissue. The design more closely resembles the OG Bekett silhouette — and happens to be the exact burgundy colorway Beyoncé, 44, posted on Instagram in 2013.

The Bekett sneakers were the “It” shoe of the early 2010s, with six-month-long waitlists after Beyoncé debuted them in her “Love on Top” video.
Rihanna, Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr and Jennifer Lopez were among the A-listers who embraced the hybrid style, which offered the height of a heel with sneaker-level comfort.
Carter’s courtside appearance comes six weeks after she attended the Angel Ball in New York City wearing a pink satin Babyboo gown and feathered boa alongside her grandmother, Tina Knowles.
Earlier this year, she performed alongside her mother during the Cowboy Carter Tour, dancing to hits including “America Has a Problem” and recreating Beyoncé’s iconic 2006 “Déjà Vu” choreography.
