“Bling Empire: New York” star Lynn Ban died Monday. She was 52.
Ban’s son, Sebastian, announced the news via Instagram on Wednesday, less than a month after the reality star underwent emergency brain surgery for injuries she sustained in a ski accident.
“I know she wanted to share her journey after her accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate one last post sharing the news to people who supported her,” Sebastian captioned a series of family photos from over the years.
The teen told Ban’s followers that his mom “was and always will be [his] best friend.”
“She always had a smile on her face even when times were tough during her recovery process. She was a fighter until the end and is the strongest woman I know,” he shared.
Sebastian gushed that Ban was “the funniest and coolest mum” who took care of their loved ones “throughout her whole life.”
“Although she may be gone now, I will do everything I can to make sure she is never forgotten and for her life to be celebrated as it deserves to be,” he added.
Sebastian concluded his sentimental tribute by telling his mother that he will miss her “forever,” adding, “I love you more than life itself.”
NYPD sources told The Post later Wednesday that Ban’s husband, Jett Kain, found the jewelry designer dead in their Tribeca home Monday at approximately 1:30 p.m.
The news comes after Ban announced via Instagram on Dec. 30 that she had been involved in a ski accident on Christmas Eve while vacationing in Aspen, Colo., with her family.
“At the top of the mountain I caught a tip and face planted . Luckily I always wear a helmet , It didn’t seem that bad at the time and I was able to ski to the bottom,” she wrote.
The Netflix personality shared that she decided to err on the side of caution and got “checked out by ski patrol for a concussion,” but they cleared her of any issues.
However, after developing a headache soon after, she took a taxi to a local hospital, where she was diagnosed with a brain bleed and immediately airlifted to a trauma center.
“Last thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy with Jett by my side,” she wrote of 56-year-old Kain.
Ban told fans at the time that she had a “long road of recovery ahead” but was “grateful and blessed to see the new year.”
She also posted photos from her hospital bed, including one showing a massive stitched incision in her shaved head.
The Singapore native rose to fame in January 2023 when the New York City-based spinoff of “Bling Empire” premiered.
