After three months, Bigg Boss 18 finally ended on January 19, 2025. The Salman Khan-hosted show entertained the viewers with lots of drama, controversies, and chaos. Karan Veer Mehra has emerged victorious this season, leaving behind contestants like Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Avinash Mishra, and Chum Darang. There are a lot of reasons why Karan’s journey was one of the major highlights this season. But what was discussed a lot is his equation with Chum.
Karan Veer Mehra on proposing to Chum Darang
There’s no denying that Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang shared a great, passionate bond inside Bigg Boss 18. Fans also shipped them together as ‘ChumVeer’. While they aren’t officially together, the heat and romance were always in the air. During the Bigg Boss 18 press conference, the actress was asked if she would accept Karan’s proposal. To this, Chum responded, “Abhi mai kaise batau. Pehle puchne toh do. Toh pehle waha se aane do fir sochenge. How can I say anything now? First let him ask me, then I will think.”
Later, in conversation with BollywoodLife, Karan Veer Mehra was asked his thoughts on Chum’s remarks on him not proposing to him yet. The Bigg Boss 18 winner reacted, “Yeh sab bolne ki baatein hai ki I didn’t ask yet. Sabko pata hai kitna piche pada hua hu mai. Ab vo choice ussi ke paas hai. Vo pehle apne purane panne flip karna bandh kare. All these are just talks. Everyone knows I’m behind her. Now, the choice is hers. She needs to stop flipping through the old chapters of her life.”
Well, now that the show is over, it would be interesting to see what happens to Karan and Chum’s equation. Will they get together or stay friends? Only time will tell!
