Ben Affleck spent quality time with his son Samuel and new security dog in his upscale Brentwood neighborhood on Saturday.
The 52-year-old actor kept a watchful eye on his 12-year-old son — who is one of three kids he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner — as he peddled on his bike just outside of the star’s mansion.
The father-of-three looked cozy in a knitted zip-up, dark jeans and Nike sneakers as he also monitored his newly adopted German Shepard guard dog.
Samuel rode his bike down the driveway while holding his dog’s leash as he and his dad got ready to take an afternoon walk.
Affleck debuted his family’s new dog earlier this month during a neighborhood stroll with Samuel.
The father-son duo were joined by two trainers from Trident Elite Protection Dogs.

Along with Samuel, Affleck also shares daughter Violet, 19, and child Fin, 16 — born Seraphina Rose Elizabeth — with Garner.
The sighting Affleck and Garner are now ‘spending more time together than ever since they divorced’ as per Page Six.
The duo — who were married from 2005 until 2015 — ‘are closer than they’ve ever been since their divorce’ a source told the publication.
News of their close bond comes after Affleck recently settled his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez, 55.
‘Particularly since Ben’s divorce from [Lopez] and with the LA fires and everything going on,’ Affleck and Garner ‘have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever’ the source said.
Both Affleck and Garner’s homes in Brentwood were spared in the Palisades Fire, though Affleck was among those who had to evacuate, as the blaze crept dangerously close to his home.
He raced to Garner’s home after being evacuated, as the duo live a short distance from each other.

The source added that the pair ‘really do have a close bond.
They acknowledge their amicable and ‘amazing’ relationship is rare among exes and ‘they feel very grateful.’
However, a source told Page Six this weekend that Garner’s boyfriend is uncomfortable with the bond between the Alias star and Argo director.
Miller ‘knows Ben and Jen have been leaning on each other more than ever lately and have a really close relationship,’ the outlet reported.
‘Their growing bond is getting to be a bit much when Ben spends all the holidays with them like Christmas and Thanksgiving,’ the insider said. ‘John feels like a third wheel.’
The outlet’s source said that Jen and Ben ‘text, call, and communicate far more than they have over the past several years.’
‘It used to be solely about the kids, but John feels like it could be more than just about their coparenting relationship,’ the insider says.
