The feud among the Beckham clan continues to rumble on – with news of Brooklyn blocking his family on Instagram coming to light over the weekend.

David and Victoria’s estranged son Brooklyn’s absence will be felt heavily later this week, as the famously close family throw themselves into Christmas.

While the Beckhams will stick to roasts and matching pyjamas in the Cotswolds, Brooklyn is residing at his wife Nicola’s family’s $103m compound in Palm Beach – where he is celebrating Hanukkah with his Jewish in-laws alongside Christmas.

Last year, prior to his estrangement, Brooklyn and his wife enjoyed both time with his family and her family, in their respective homes, with Nicola’s Christmas also featuring pyjamas as well as a table laden with Tiffany boxes.

In the past, Brooklyn shared the kitchen with his foodie father – to whom he previously attributed his love of cooking – however the gaping distance between the families will now be felt, in what Victoria revealed is David’s favourite time of year.

As his feud with his famous family escalates, Brooklyn Beckham took to Instagram on Sunday to share a snap showing his Hanukkah celebrations with his wife Nicola Peltz

In 2023, Brooklyn spent time in the US with Nicola’s family, while his brothers and sister met a Santa Claus back at home. Victoria posted pictures and said she was ‘missing’ her son and daughter-in-law

The Beckham clan, also comprising Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, have been at loggerheads with the Beckham-Peltzes after they failed to attend or acknowledge any of David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.

Brooklyn also failed to acknowledge his father’s knighthood in November.

On Sunday, Brooklyn took to Instagram stories to share a snap showing him cradling a present with Star Of David wrapping paper adorned with the words: ‘Night Seven, For Brooklyn’, alongside the caption: ‘Happy Hanukkah’.

Since marrying Nicola in 2022, Brooklyn has respected her Jewish faith, descending from her billionaire father Nelson Peltz. Nicola is the one of 10 children – with two children from his first marriage and eight from his marriage to her mother Claudia.

Their swanky wedding featured a rabbi, chuppah, yarmulkes, hora dancing with chair lifts, glass smashing, and Sheva Brachot blessings, while David – who is half-Jewish from his paternal grandfather – embraced Jewish traditions.

He has previously given insight into Hanukkah at the Peltz compound, sharing sweet snaps cosying up to his wife over the eight night-long religious celebration in 2023.

On the other side of the pond, David has already been posting holiday content after he shared a snap last week advertising a PerfectDraft beer dispenser, while posing in front of a Christmas tree and wearing a cosy jumper.

Last year, just four days after Christmas, Victoria shared a sweet snap of David and his sons

Brooklyn has lodged himself into both Jewish and Christian festivities with his in-laws (pictured last year)

Back in 2020, Victoria spoke about Beckham Christmases, saying: ‘To have Christmas with more time to spend together is just going to be great…

‘I don’t know who is more excited, the kids or whether it’s David. He gets very, very excited. We have had Christmas music playing in the Beckham house for a month and a half. We have matching Beckham Christmas pyjamas!..

‘A little monogram with our little names on.’

David has passed his love of cooking on to Brooklyn, whose Instagram is laden with cookery videos and has also launched his own hot sauce brand.

In years gone by, the father-son duo would split culinary duties. Last year, Victoria said of cooking on the big day: ‘David will be doing the cooking, he’s actually a really good cook. He loves the whole prep.’

Just last week, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer explained that her festive fanatic husband (pictured December 2024) is even a massive fan of the Elf On The Shelf tradition

In a heartbreaking tie-up, Brooklyn said last year: ‘My dad was always the one cooking in the house, my mum not so much. I just loved hanging out with him in the kitchen, I loved the smell of food.’

He detailed the former bond of the family, adding: ‘We never say it’s like a competition, even though we give each other a bit of stick about it — that’s just what brothers do. All of us in the kitchen. Listening to music, cooking, it’s fun. The best.’

On the back of the bond over cookery, Brooklyn’s mass blocking is said to have sprung from his fury over a video in which he was cooking a chicken.

The bitter Beckham family feud escalated to new heights over the weekend, when it was suggested that David and Victoria had stopped following their oldest son, before Cruz furiously set the record straight.

On the back of the bond over cookery, Brooklyn’s mass blocking is said to have sprung from his fury over a video in which he was cooking a chicken

He penned online: ‘My mum and dad would never unfollow their son [as reports had suggested]. They woke up blocked. As did I.’ The claims of the very sudden blocking sparked the obvious question of why he would do such a thing.

And it’s now possible that Brooklyn suddenly cut final ties with his parents and three siblings after Victoria liked a post of his about roasting a chicken.

Aspiring chef Brooklyn posted another of his regular cooking videos on Instagram last week as he showed his 16 million followers how to brine a chicken.

Victoria is thought to have liked the post which led to a slew of comments under the post urging Brooklyn to fix the feud with his family.

Fans penned: ‘Victoria liked this post. Yay!!! Family is everything’, ‘Go and see your parents, you will regret it later in life’, ‘Call your parents.’

It’s understood that Brooklyn was left annoyed by the comments prompted by his mother’s public like – and decided to block the whole family including his sister Harper.
