Ashton Kutcher claimed during his days as a model, he was fired by Gucci for being overweight.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, “The Beauty” star recalled booking a campaign with the luxury design house — run by Tom Ford at the time — and jetting to Italy for the accompanying shoot.

“And I showed up, I flew to Italy for the runway show, and he puts me in, like, a pink Speedo,” the “That ’70s Show” alum told the outlet, noting that he weighed “exactly” 178 pounds at the time.

Ford, he recalled, “was like, ‘He’s too fat.’ And then I got fired.”

Kutcher, now 47, confessed that he and the iconic designer look back on the incident with amusement.

“I laugh with him about it now, and he’s like, ‘You were too fat.’ I was like, ‘Dude, I was 178 lbs! Like, what are you talking about?’” Kutcher laughed.

He then went on to defend Ford’s decision to cut him from the fashion campaign.

“He had a specific thing that he wanted, that he wanted to see, in his eye was the right thing,” the actor explained.

“It didn’t mean I was less, but it just meant that I wasn’t that for him for that moment.”

A rep for Gucci did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Kutcher, who noted that he began modeling around the age of 19, also explained that even “some of the most beautiful people in the world” experience insecurity.

“What I realized really quickly was that everybody had an insecurity,” he said of working as a professional model.

“Everybody. If you look in the mirror long enough, you’ll find something you don’t like, or that you think could be better, or that you think could be different.”

Last year, Kutcher also admitted that his model looks had sometimes actually hurt his acting career.

“There are roles that I’ve gotten because of the way I look and there are roles that I haven’t gotten because of the way I look,” he said during a New York Comic Con panel in October. “Sometimes it’s frustrating.”

“The Beauty” — which is set to drop on FX on Jan. 21 — revolves around an STD that causes aesthetic improvements, but ultimately proves lethal, begging the question of what one might do to achieve physical perfection.

While addressing the show’s potential similarities to Demi Moore’s “The Substance,” Kutcher praised his ex-wife’s performance in the highly acclaimed body horror movie.

“I mean, one, Demi’s performance in ‘The Substance,’ — obviously she got extraordinary accolades,” he noted, referencing Moore’s Oscar nomination for the role.

“I’m so proud of her, she killed it.”
