In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the current storyline is all about Armaan and Abhira starting fresh from scratch. After Armaan decided to cut ties with the Poddars, he’s been facing major financial struggles, and his ‘riches to rags’ journey is keeping fans hooked. During these tough times, Abhira has been supporting him through it all. In the recent pisode, we saw the couple trying hard to make do with minimal food and a home with zero furniture, struggling but staying strong together.
The episode started with Armaan (Rohit Purohit) dropping a shocker. He announces that he wants to quit advocacy. He explains to Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) that his career got a good push due to the Poddar surname that he held. However, now he does not want any advantage. On the other hand, Abhira informs him that Sanjay Bansal is instigating all the clients to not work with her. Armaan gets angry. He wants to confront Sanjay Bansal but Abhira stops him. Armaan feels guilty that Abhira and Shivani are suffering because of him.
Later in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see Armaan and Abhira making sacrifices as there is less food. They eat less pretending that they aren’t hungry. They share a romantic moment as they go off to sleep on floor. Abhira sleeps on Armaan’s arm. Madhav, who has been hunting for his son Armaan, shows up at their new home. While they are sleeping, Madhav tries to secretly help them by keeping food packets on the table. Armaan and Abhira remain unaware of his presence in the house.

Meanwhile, in the Poddar house, a major drama unfolds. Krish exposes Sanjay Bansal’s plan against Abhir and Charu. Sanjay was the one who blackmailed Charu to run away from the mandap on the wedding day. He told her that if she gets married to Abhir, he will divorce Kajal. As Krish exposes Sanjay’s evil plan, Manu gets extremely furious. He almost gets into a physical fight with Sanjay. As Charu fled, Kiara got married to Abhir. Thus ruining three lives!
