Three years after their high-profile split, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have officially settled the legal battle over the sale of their shared home.

Us Weekly confirmed that Madix, 40, and Sandoval, 42, reached an agreement on Tuesday, January 13, when the Love Island USA host filed a notice of settlement of the entire case in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the filing, the dismissal of the case is “conditional” and would require “the satisfactory completion of specified terms” within 30 days of the date of the settlement.

Both sides are expected to meet on February 5 for a final status conference. The legal filing, which Page Six broke the news on first, noted that if Sandoval doesn’t meet the terms of the agreement, then the case will go to trial on February 17.

The update in the case comes three years after the Vanderpump Rules alums called it quits in the aftermath of Sandoval’s affair with their then-costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Leaving their mark on reality TV. Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix found themselves at the center of drama after joining Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules. Viewers were initially introduced to Sandoval’s love life through his tumultuous relationship with Kristen Doute. Amid their on-and-off relationship, the former couple’s future was called into question when Madix came to work […]

After their breakup, Sandoval and Ariana’s home became an issue. They originally purchased the house in 2019 for $2 million after six years of dating. One month after the scandal made headlines, Sandoval admitted he didn’t have anywhere else to go.

“I don’t have a lot of friends I can stay with right now. … I kind of run the house,” he said on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast in April 2023. “I handle the gardening [and] the housekeeping. My assistant comes and cleans and stocks everything. I basically run everything in the house.”

Sandoval explained how he avoided seeing Madix every day by using a mediator. “[Ariana’s] in the house. This is a big house. We have a go-between. We text when we’re coming and going,” he continued at the time. “The house is not listed yet, no. [Ariana’s] really busy right now, she’s obviously blowing up. I’m really happy to see that. I’ve been busy as well trying to get things together.”

Madix, meanwhile, defended her decision to remain in her home. “I have never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away,” she told costar Scheana Shay on the “Scheananigans” podcast in August 2023. “I’m taking care of myself. … I have a pretty decent setup. My room is kind of like my little apartment. I stay in my own little zone.”

While some things never change, the cast of Vanderpump Rules is used to a shake-up … and a touch-up. Vanderpump Rules was introduced to Bravo viewers during a special episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in January 2013. Season 1 starred Lisa Vanderpump, Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval […]

She continued: “I sleep a lot easier at night not giving a f*** about when he is coming through that door. That is one thing I have to say about us living in the same house. I don’t have to think about how he is coming into my bedroom because he is not. I sleep with my door locked. Just in case.”

In January 2024, Madix filed a lawsuit against Sandoval in the hopes of selling their joint property. Madix, who is now dating Daniel Wai, made it clear she didn’t want “a division in kind,” while Sandoval pushed to receive full ownership.

Ariana purchased a $1.6 million house in Los Angeles in March 2024 where she has been residing while Sandoval discussed plans to sell his home in order to move in with girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson.
