Ariana Grande clarified that she’s still not using Botox after she jokingly crediting injectables for her youthful appearance.
“I’m still clean! I’m still clean!” the “Wicked” actress told “Entertainment Tonight” after accepting the rising star award at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday.
“I really want to be transparent as a beauty founder,” Grande — who launched R.E.M. Beauty in 2021 — continued, before sharing she’s four years “clean” from Botox.
The “We Can’t Be Friends” hitmaker, 31, even promised she would be honest with fans should she start using injectables again in the future.
“When I start going again, I’ll let you know!” she said to the outlet on the red carpet. “I mean it.”
Although the pop star has nixed Botox from her beauty routine, she expressed her appreciation for one of Hollywood’s go-to cosmetic treatments.
“But I love it, and I support it,” she said. “But I am still four years clean. You see the lines? I love them!”
The Nickelodeon alum poked fun at being presented with the rising star award while being honored at the film festival on Friday.
“I’ve been performing since I was a child, so I never thought at the age of 31 I would be hearing the words ‘rising star’ again,” Grande joked while onstage.
“So I wanted to start by thanking my two friends: Botox and Juvederm.”
The Grammy winner previously addressed why she discontinued Botox and lip filler in a Vogue “Beauty Secrets” video from September 2023.
“Full transparency, as a beauty person, as I do my lips, [I’ve] had a ton of lip filler over the years and Botox,” she said while sharing her beauty routine.
“I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so … [it was] too much. I just felt like hiding, you know.”
Last September, Grande also addressed plastic surgery rumors.
The pop sensation denied getting a nose job and a breast augmentation during a Vanity Fair lie detector test with “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo.
When asked whether she had a face-lift, Grande responded, “No, not yet. I’m open.”
