IIFA 2025 began in style on March 8 in Jaipur, with the awards for the OTT category taking center stage. While Amazon Prime Video and Netflix were among the big winners, ZEE 5 was also successful in scooping up an award for Berlin. For the unversed, actress Anupriya Goenka won Best Supporting Role, Female (Film) for Berlin. The excitement around Berlin has been high since it was premiered on ZEE5 on September 13, 2024. Reason? The viewers felt Berlin was an absolute rollercoaster of suspense. Set against the 1990s Delhi backdrop, this thriller came across as a heart-pounding ride full of espionage and mystery. Directed by Atul Sabharwal, Berlin has been regarded as an intense, high-octane film.

As Anurpiya Goenka said, “being nominated for a performance is always special”, and to be nominated at IIFA 2025 was a huge deal for the actress. “It’s truly heartwarming to be here and celebrate the 25th anniversary of IIFA with everyone”. Anupriya called Berlin a very “special project” for her because of the hard work that had gone into putting it together. “Berlin is a very special project for me because we worled hard to put it tagerher – I really associate with the subject and I’m proud of the project that we made. Atul sir and Shariz and everyone at Zee5 did a fab job. I’m excited to be here to celebrate that,” she said.
