Anupamaa always keeps its viewers us on the edge of their seats with its unexpected twists and turns. Following the drama around Prem and Rahi’s marriage, the makers are ready to add yet another twist. A new character has now been introduced. And as expected, fans are excited. In the latest episode, Anupamaa gets a call from Central Jail, and when she visits, we’re introduced to a character named Raghav. What happens next totally shocks her, especially when she witnesses how the inmates are acting. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

In today’s episode of Anupamaa, we see that Anu gets extremely scared with the yelling and screaming inside the jail by the prisoners. The jailer asks her to not be angry as the prisoners are behaving the way they are because they have seen a woman after a long time. He also adds that though people promise to visit prisoners but nobody ever does. Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) gives gyaan. She adds that even Lord Krishna was born in jail and that prisoners are humans too. She also shares that there might be a few prisoners who are locked in despite being innocent. Impressed by her speech, the jailer asks her to talk to the inmates and motivate them to improve. She now plans to visit jail often and help reform the prisoners.

Meanwhile, in Kothari house, Rahi is having trouble adjusting into her new home. Vasundhara aka Moti Baa is doing her best to make Rahi’s life tough in Kothari house. She is throwing challenges at her. Rahi missed the muh-dikhai ritual and Vasundhara got angry. She felt that Rahi was faking illness only to be saved from her wrath. Now, she has asked Rahi to stay prepared for her ‘pehli rasoi’. Rahi is all nervous as she does not want to give Vasundhara any chance to complain. In the upcoming episode, we may see Prem coming to Rahi’s rescue by helping her cook food for all.
