“Another Simple Favor” director Paul Feig defended Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick after a YouTuber claimed they appeared uncomfortable during a joint appearance at SXSW Friday.

“Um … you’re wrong,” Feig replied to the YouTuber, named Melanie King, via X afte she claimed Lively appeared “terrified” and Kendrick looked “pissed” during the movie’s premiere in Austin, Texas. King also alleged that Kendrick “never wants to work with [Lively] again.”

Page Six reached out to both Lively and Kendrick’s reps but did not receive immediate responses.

Feig’s comment in defense of the “Gossip Girl” alum and “Pitch Perfect” actress comes after they were both asked about working with each other again, seven years after the first movie — “A Simple Favor” — was released.

“Anna, what does it mean to be working with Blake again?” a reporter from “Entertainment Tonight” asked Kendrick, to which she replied, “Oh, you know…”

In a separate video shared by “Entertainment Tonight,” Lively was asked the same question, and she had nothing but good things to say about their onscreen reunion.

“Oh, it’s the best!” the “Age of Adaline” star gushed while arriving to the SXSW red carpet. “I’m so happy to be here.”

Despite the chatter about Lively and Kendrick’s alleged discomfort at the film’s premiere, the two posed for photos together on the red carpet alongside Feig, 62.

Lively, 37, wore a strapless Renée Masoomian latex dress which featured black accents.

Meanwhile, Kendrick, 39, wore a black LaQuan Smith pantsuit that included a plunging corset.

While inside the theater for the film’s first look, Kendrick sat in the row directly in front of Lively.

An eyewitness at the premiere told Page Six that although the women sat apart during the screening, they stood next to each other when they joined the rest of the cast for a Q&A.

The insider said that Lively doubled down on her positive statement about her co-star and said it was “amazing” to work with Kendrick and the rest of the cast again.

Their reunion for the “Another Simple Favor” premiere comes more than two months after Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her “It Ends with Us” director, Justin Baldoni.

Baldoni, 41, has denied all of Lively’s allegations against him — including her claims of him launching a smear campaign against her.

The “Jane the Virgin” alum responded by filing a $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist, Leslie Sloane.

Baldoni also filed a $250 million libel suit against the New York Times for reporting on the Betty Buzz founder’s allegations against him.

A judge has set a potential trial date for the case for March 2026.
