Andy Cohen is kicking off 2026 by throwing some possible shade at The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel.

“I also went on TikTok just to see what the kids were saying about New Year’s Eve,” Cohen, 57, shared on the Monday, January 5, episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “Boy that margarita lady. Oh my god, it’s suffocating. I couldn’t.”

When guest John Hill suggested she — presumably Frankel — posts “like 14 [videos] a day,” Cohen seemingly confirmed he checked out of the app.

“Anyway, that was a one and done for me,” he shared. “She doesn’t come up on my Instagram. I don’t even know if she’s on Instagram.”

Andy Cohen has been candid about his complicated relationships with the Real Housewives — especially after they exited their respective franchise — over the years. Cohen became the Vice President of Original Programming at Bravo in 2004. Two years later, he served as an executive producer for Real Housewives of Orange County, which premiered in […]

While Cohen didn’t mention Frankel by name, BravoBabe — who originally posted the clip — was confident the joke was directed at the former Bravo star.

In Frankel’s defense, the “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” podcast host has only posted three TikToks thus far in 2026. As for her pre-packaged Skinnygirl Margaritas, Frankel sold her Skinnygirl Cocktails in 2011 for an estimated $100 million.

Ultimately, Bravo fans know Frankel has a complicated dynamic with Cohen, partly because of her involvement in the “reality reckoning” movement in the summer of 2023.

Frankel — who previously starred on eight seasons of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City — campaigned for reality TV stars to be compensated with residuals for their work like actors and writers. She also claimed reality television exploits its stars.

“I can tell you with great certainty that everyone at Bravo likely despises me, including Andy Cohen, because it’s very personal and because they have to protect the realm,” Frankel claimed on an August 2023 episode of Rob Lowe’s “Literally!” podcast. “It’s a very complicated thing I walked myself into whilst also burning bridges and seeming like I’m biting the hand that fed me, but I fed myself. There are a lot of people who didn’t get fed.”

In Cohen’s latest episode of Andy Cohen Live, the radio host kept the focus on his New Year’s Eve show with Anderson Cooper.

The close friends said goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026 during a live broadcast on CNN from Times Square, infamously taking a shot of tequila at the start of every hour.

In addition to the New York City ball drop, viewers were treated to a wide variety of special guests and even a rant from Cohen about former New York City mayor Eric Adams.

Not long after Anderson Cooper started hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage from Times Square in 2002, the news program often became the news. In 2007, Kathy Griffin joined as the journalist’s official cohost. While the unlikely duo brought the laughs, Griffin made waves annually for her dirty jokes and cursing. Still, the network stood […]

“Go off into the sunset. We’ll fiddle with what we have, with what you’ve left us with,” Cohen shared on live TV before welcoming new mayor Zohran Mamdani to the Big Apple. “Go dance away. We’ll see you at all the parties. You’ve partied your way through four years.”

Adams, 65, later responded on X writing, “If anyone actually cares about him, they’ll tell him to get help. New Yorkers aren’t laughing with him. They are concerned about him. Public intoxication is a disease. He should seek help.”

SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live airs Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. ET on Radio Andy (Channel 102), and anytime on the SiriusXM app.
