Andrew Garfield just swung into his blond era, showing off a long, shaggy hairstyle and a clean-shaven look during a recent outing in Las Vegas.
The web-slinging Spider-Man actor, 42, debuted his light mane in a backstage photo after catching Penn and Teller’s magic act, which combines tricks and comedy. Garfield was joined by rumored girlfriend Monica Barbaro.
“Great to have #andrewgarfield and @monicabarbaro at the show @riovegas over the weekend!” read the caption of a photo shared by the performing duo via Instagram on Tuesday, January 13.
In the beaming snapshot, Andrew’s light tresses peeked out the sides of his blue baseball cap and his signature facial hair was gone. He was all smiles, wearing a tan hoodie and a white T-shirt underneath. Barbaro, for her part, dressed in a cream-colored blouse with her hair down, rocking a hair of hoop earrings to go with her ensemble.

Garfield is known for his trademark brunette locks and normally sports a beard and mustache. While the blond hair is a fresh change, he shaved his facial hair ahead of the 2025 Venice Film Festival in August, but it was back in time for his After the Hunt premiere in London that October.
Garfield and the Top Gun: Maverick actress, 35, were first romantically linked in January 2025 when they were spotted at the W Magazine party together at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. All eyes were on the pair when they both hit up a performance of Jonathan Bailey’s play Richard II in London’s West End last February and when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party the following month.
“They’ve been really low-key and have been spending time together quietly,” an insider told People in February 2025.
Around that time, Barbaro shared her excitement upon earning her first Academy Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category for her portrayal of legendary musician Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown alongside Timothée Chalamet.
She told People that her Top Gun: Maverick costars were over the moon for her.
“Our group chat just blew up,” the actress, who portrayed LT Natasha “Phoenix” Trace in the Tom Cruise-starring sequel, said. “That was really exciting. They’re just super supportive and thrilled.”
When asked about a potential Top Gun 3, she spilled, “I’ve heard of it.”
“I really can’t say anything about that, but I would if I could,” Barbaro added. “We had such a great time making [Top Gun: Maverick]. We love how much people have adored the film and how just incredibly supportive the fans of it are, and so we’d all feel really stoked to read the next script.”
Just three months later, Garfield and Barbaro appeared to put their budding relationship on display while stepping out hand in hand at Wimbledon in July 2025.
It appears they are still going strong after their recent magic show outing, but don’t expect Garfield to share any more details.
“I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone,” he told Esquire in October 2024. “Ever.”
