Amy Schumer has filed for divorce from Chris Fischer after 7 years of marriage.
The “I Feel Pretty” star filed documents to end the union on Tuesday in New York County, according to People.
A rep for Schumer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The comedian initially announced her split from the pro chef last month.
“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years, she captioned a lengthy Dec. 12 Instagram post.
“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.
In the since-deleted upload, she included a photo of herself and Fischer on a subway, adding, “blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”
The “Trainwreck” actress, 44, and Fischer, 45, secretly tied the knot back in 2018 and welcomed their son, Gene, in 2019.
Split speculation emerged in 2021 when Fischer gifted Schumer a 40th birthday cake reading, “I’m leaving you. This was the only way I could think to do it,” though it was unclear if it was a joke.
The actress shared a video of the ostensible gag via Instagram, during which her demeanor turned subdued as he presented her with the cake as family sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
Following their split, a source told Page Six last month that Schumer and Fischer were still living together.
“She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more,” the close source told us, adding, “They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake.”
This is a developing story…
