Amanda Seyfried is making a case for Botox.
The actress, who just turned 40 last week, stars on the December 2025 cover of Who What Wear, modeling a series of lace and tulle looks that are reminiscent of a gothic Marie Antoinette style.
Though Seyfried made it clear that she’s not ready to go under the knife — at least just yet — she firmly supports a growing list of beauty treatments that require a less-invasive approach.
“I have a really good dermatologist who tells me that she’s never gonna do anything but put Botox in the same place for the rest of my life,” she shared, pointing to a spot on her forehead that the needle has claimed as its own.
Along with Botox, the actress “recommends adaptogenic, not hallucinogenic, mushrooms… and hypes up IPL laser treatment for skincare.”
The mom of two discusses the internal work she’s done as well, sharing, “I’ve done a lot of couples therapy. I’ve done a lot of therapy alone. I’ve had insane amounts of conversations with psychologists and friends who are psychologists that I feel like I have a lot of self-knowledge,” adding, “It’s not everything, but it certainly goes a long way.”
During the same interview, she addressed the backlash she received after calling Charlie Kirk “hateful,” standing her ground and stating, “What I said was pretty damn factual, and I’m free to have an opinion, of course.”
In a recent interview with Allure, Seyfried appeared next to her co-star in “The Housemaid,” Sydney Sweeney, who addressed her own plastic surgery rumors.
Though Sweeney stated matter-of-factly, “I have never gotten work done,” Seyfried was quick to act as the older, wiser sister to her younger on-screen partner.
She clarified that some procedures can be “really effective once you get older,” adding “When you do…” to which Sweeney interjected, “I’ll call you.”
Seyfried further joked, “You gotta call me, and I’ll give you a little bit of Ativan, and you’ll be so excited… but you don’t need it yet.”
Looking just as flawless at 40 as she did when she first hit the screens of Hollywood decades ago, Seyfried is clearly doing something right — we’ll have what she’s having.
