Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule had hit the theatres in December 2024. Directed by Sukumar, the movie received mixed reactions from both critics and audiences. A sequel to Arjun and Rashmika’s 2021 movie, Pushpa 2: The Rise, it turned out to be a big hit at the box office. Today, the action drama was streamed on Netflix, giving many the chance to watch it.
As soon as the movie dropped, many took to social media to share their reactions. While some viewers loved the film, others absolutely hated the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer, and showed no inhibitions in saying it can’t be pitted against Baahubali 2. As for the negative reviews, one person called it “unbearable” and wrote, “#Pushpa2 : ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE CRINGEFEST Bro learnt Japanese sitting in that container for 40 days without food and water. Logic where? @SukumarWritings writing where Salute to each and everyone who watched this shit in theatres. Undoubtedly the worst of Sukumar.”
Another user wrote, “Okay fine Movie #Pushpa2 1st part nachaledhu but this was better
Only Style No Substance Allu Arjun acting fabulous Under utilised Fahad and gave him a worst character to play Sukku mark aithe kadhu..asalu expected a lot man! Rashmik gadu kuda baa chesadu! Rating : 3/5″.
On the flip side, some positive reviews lauded how entertaining the movie was. An X user wrote, “Allu Arjun cements his superstar status with a career-defining performance, embodying Pushpa’s swagger, vulnerability, and raw intensity. His dialogue delivery and physicality (especially in the “Thaggede Le” moments) are electrifying.” One more person tweeted, “#Pushpa2 No matter how many times i see this movie..but still each time i am watching with the same enthusiasm and excitement may be on screen Allu Arjun is the reason. His acting, his dedication, his perfection makes me watch it several times ..by the proud AA Fan

Today I feel happy, that I did not watch #Pushpa2 in theatre
The damn movie,is 3hr 45min long and it would have been very uncomfortable to sit there, that long
On top of it,the story is bullocks.Mindless and senseless.
Watch #Pushpa2OnNetflix at your own risk. @SukumarWritings
