The case, which began in 2020, stemmed from an interview where Kangana claimed Javed Akhtar had asked her to apologize to Hrithik Roshan’s family and threatened to end her career. Javed Akhtar denied the allegations and filed a defamation case against Kangana. After five years of legal battles, Kangana apologized to Javed Akhtar in court, putting an end to the case.
