Alex Warren has been announced as the latest act set to take to the stage at this year’s BRIT Awards.

The American star, 25, emerged as one of 2025’s biggest global breakout artists.

With more than 7.7 billion career streams and over 50 million monthly listeners on Spotify, his rise has been nothing short of extraordinary.

His smash hit Ordinary is now BRIT Certified 3x Platinum and was the most-played song on UK radio throughout 2025.

The track also soared to Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the longest-running UK Number 1 by a US artist this decade.

Alex will join an already impressive line-up for the star-studded ceremony, which takes place on February 28.

Previously announced performers include Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI – the singing voices of HUNTR/X – as well as Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson and ROSALÍA.

‘The UK is where ‘Ordinary’ first broke and changed my life last year,’ Alex said.

‘I am so grateful for all the love from my fans there, and I can’t wait to bring a big performance to the BRITs’ stage for the very first time.’

His upcoming performance at the BRIT Awards comes after fans hailed him for ‘greatest recovery ever’ following Grammys glitch.

The Ordinary singer was performing his hit song during the live broadcast when he notably began singing off-beat and was filmed struggling with his in-ear monitors.

Following the performance, he broke has his silence on the major technical glitch he suffered during his debut performance.

He appeared on TikTok to give his 20 million followers insight into his experience on stage at Crypto.com Arena.

But even before Alex clarified exactly what threw his performance off, fans and Grammy Awards viewers took to social media to commend the influencer-turned-singer for his impressive recovery.

In his clip, the singer appeared in the same black tuxedo he wore on the Grammys red carpet while sitting in a chair.

‘When you’re performing at the Grammys and all you hear is this in your ears…’ he captioned the video.

The overlaying audio revealed a delay and echo in the music and vocals, and Warren feigned a scream of frustration.

He wrote in the caption, ‘This would only happen to me.’

The comments on his post were filled with supportive words, including one from Demi Lovato, who is intimately familiar with in-ear monitors.

‘So impressed,’ she wrote. ‘U handled it so gracefully and sounded amazing!’

Trisha Paytas also praised Warren’s performance, writing, ‘You actually crushed it tho !!!!!!!’

On X, several viewers said they were ‘won over’ by how Warren recovered from the brink of disaster.

‘Went into the Grammys staunchly rooting for Olivia Dean but the way Alex Warren just handled that in-ear monitor mishap and didn’t let the song get away from him kinda won me over,’ one viewer wrote.

‘Well done to alex warren for carrying on while struggling with his in ear monitors (any musician’s worst nightmare),’ another poster wrote.
