Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s brood has demands.
The couple’s seven children apparently “want more money” before filming Season 2 of their family’s TLC reality show, “The Baldwins.”
Alec, 66, quipped to People Tuesday at the grand reopening of Planet Hollywood in Times Square that his kids are “already renegotiating their contract.”
He jokingly elaborated, “They want more money — they want a lot more money — so we’ll see what happens.” (The network has not yet announced plans for a second season.)
Alec and Hilaria, 41, are parents to daughter Carmen, 11, son Rafael, 9, son Leonardo, 8, son Romeo, 6, son Eduardo, 4, daughter Marilu, 4, and daughter Ilaria, 2.
The actor is also dad to daughter Ireland, 29, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger.
For Alec, the timing of filming “The Baldwins” Season 1, which debuted last month, was “unique” in that cameras started rolling shortly before his shooting trial began.
Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was accidentally shot and killed in October 2021 after a prop gun Alec was holding went off on the set of the Western movie “Rust.”
He was charged with involuntary manslaughter but pleaded not guilty, insisting he did not pull the trigger and was unaware the gun was loaded with real ammunition.
Though Alec’s case was dismissed in July 2024, he still suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder related to the tragic incident.
“When I think of the reality show, many things occur to me after the fact. Like, when we were doing it, it was a bit of a unique time for us, but afterward when we did it, I realized that that’s who we are,” he told People on Tuesday, adding that his kids are “happy” and having “fun” participating in it.
According to the “Saturday Night Live” alum, his children “have friends and go to playdates and this and that, but they would rather stay home with each other.”
They operate as “a pack,” Alec shared, explaining that they’re “very close” and “want to just be with each other.”
He made sure to note that his family is not “staging or faking anything,” insisting that the show’s “representation” of their dynamic is “pretty authentic about how [they] live our lives.”
