Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa has been winning hearts since 2020, consistently topping the TRP charts. The show’s simple yet gripping plot of a housewife resonated with the audience. A few months ago, Anupamaa also witnessed a generation leap, and introduced Shivam Khajuria and Adrija Roy as the new lead couple. Adrija stepped into the role of Aadhya, who later changed her name to Rahi, and replaced Alisha Parveen in the show.

Adrija continues to do well and people have accepted her as Rahi soon. Her chemistry with Shivam has also been great and they look good as a pair on-screen. The actress has made everyone fall in love with her performance and her dedication has made Rahi one of the most important characters in Anupamaa.

However, despite undergoing leg surgery recently, Adrija continued shooting. She had developed a corn on her foot, which required surgical removal. The procedure turned out to be more complicated than expected, needing stitches.

Adrija undergoes a minor surgery

She said, “A corn had developed on my leg, and we initially thought it was minor. However, when I consulted the doctor, it turned out to be more serious, requiring stitches. Normally, a corn removal surgery takes about 15 minutes, but mine was quite deep.”

Despite the ordeal, Adrija remained committed to her role. She even performed dance sequences on one leg, and lauded the production house for its support. She also expressed her determination to keep going, as her character is crucial to the storyline. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

With the wedding track in full swing, viewers can expect more intense dance sequences. Rahi and Prem’s love story has left an impact on audiences, making them a fan-favorite pair. Talking about Adrija, she has been a part of many successful Bengali shows. She also did Imlie, Kundali Bhagya and more TV shows.
