Adam Devine claimed Zac Efron ghosted him after the “High School Musical” alum asked to use his beach house for two weeks.
“Zac calls me — hasn’t called me in a couple years — and calls me out of the blue,” Devine recalled on Wednesday’s episode of the “In Depth With Graham Bensinger” podcast.
The “Pitch Perfect” actor, 41, claimed that Efron, 37, was calling from “some private island somewhere” when he asked for the favor.
“He’s like, ‘Hey man, I just want to let you know that I miss you.’ And I’m like, ‘I miss you too, dude. You’re a good friend of mine, yada, yada.’” Devine claimed.
Efron allegedly went on to ask Devine if he still had a home by the beach, prompting the “Isn’t It Romantic” star to confirm that he did.
“He’s like, ‘Would it be cool if I came and crashed with you for two weeks?’” Devine shared, adding, “And I’m like ‘Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, come stay with me.’”
Devine said that Efron told him he would call the next day to get the details of his address and confirmed that he would come over early next week.
After getting off the phone with Efron, Devine told his wife, Chloe Bridges, that the “A Family Affair” actor would be staying over.
“I’m like, ‘Chloe, I think Zac‘s going to come live here for a couple weeks. I don’t know.’ And she’s like, ‘OK, yeah, I guess so.’” he said.
However, Efron’s visit never came to fruition as Devine claimed he never followed up with him and didn’t come over.
“And then he ghosted me, dude. Never called back,” Devine claimed. “I even texted him like, ‘Are you gonna stay here?’”
Devine alleged that he hasn’t spoken to Efron since that last exchange.
“So I have no idea, dude, no idea,” Devine said.
Efron and Devine got close after starring in their 2016 movie, “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.”
The Disney alum’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
