Between Stoney Clover Lane, Veronica Beard and Wear by Erin Andrews, the biggest names in fashion are releasing Super Bowl apparel ahead of Feb. 9’s championship game. Alongside the new launches, Abercrombie & Fitch’s officially licensed NFL collection regains buzz with Chiefs and Eagles fan gear at the forefront.
The women’s styles and men’s styles span sweaters, sweatshirts, sweatpants, oversized T-shirts, baby tees, tanks, caps, beanies and rugby polos. While an assortment of pieces are available for all 32 teams in the NFL, unsurprisingly, Kansas City Chiefs gear and Philadelphia Eagles merch are currently making the biggest dent in sales.
One standout from the NFL by Abercrombie collection is the Varsity Bomber Jacket that channels the Eagles team jacket Princess Diana famously sported in the ’90s. The People’s Princess frequently wore the Philadelphia Eagles merchandise around town, with a photo of her in the varsity jacket on the June 1994 People magazine cover. Beyond the Eagles, the same silhouette is available for the Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions.
