ABC news anchor Liz Cho has filed a protective order to avoid testifying in her tumultuous divorce from ousted CBS host Josh Elliott. Court papers obtained by Page Six show Cho filed a motion for a protective order on July 17 to stop Elliott’s legal team from conducting a deposition of the “Eyewitness News” anchor scheduled for July 23, 2026. “The deposition was noticed without any inquiry as to the availability of [Cho] and her counsel,” Cho’s request read.
