Sikandar starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna is now in theatres. The AR Murugadoss directorial is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and has a runtime of 2 hours 15 minutes. Apart from the lead stars the film also has Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi and Anjani Dhawan in key roles. The film has been one of the most anticipated of 2025 with Salman Khan reclaiming his Eid spot. But will he reclaim his position at the Bollywood box office? The first day box office collection early estimates will be in in due time but before that, here’s a Sikandar movie review of the first half of the film to help you to make a decision to watch or skip the film.
The first half of the film is entertaining from the word go. Murugadoss knows how to present his actors and he does a wonderful job with Salman’s entry scene. It is a typical Salman Khan film and the director doesn’t waste time in introducing him on the screen. The first half is also peppered with a little chemistry and despite the age difference, Salman and Rashmika’s scenes together do not feel cringe. The actress looks gorgeous like always and plays her part of Rani Sahiba Saisri with great elan. There are three songs in the first half itself but you won’t mind them since they compliment the narrative. There is ample action, true bhai style, lot of swag and some heartwarming moments as well, typical of Salman films. Sikandar is truly a treat for Salman Khan fans. Bhai is truly back this Eid.
This is the first half and the interval leaves you waiting for more. The second half is expected to have more drama and action as Sikandar finally fights his main nemesis, powerful minister played by Sathyaraj. Stay tuned to BollywoodLife for the full Sikandar movie review.
