Jake Quickenden almost moved fans to tears as he revealed bringing his newborn Kit home from the hospital felt ‘different to first time around’ in a very emotional post.
The X-Factor star, 36, welcomed his second baby boy with wife Sophie Church on Wednesday and took to Instagram on Friday to share the joyful news.
The couple, who wed in 2022, are already parents to three-year-old son Leo, while they also raise Sophie’s son Freddie from a previous relationship.
Later on in the day, the I’m A Celebrity icon gave his followers an update – briefly unfolding the family’s return to their nest in the lengthy caption.
The doting dad added this time around they tried to ‘a lot’ with Leo as he felt ‘a little overwhelmed’ and they ‘wouldn’t want for him to be left out’ as he welcomes his little sibling.
The TV star accompanied the moving message with a slew of heart-melting shots of the tiny newborn, as well as two snaps of himself shirtless cradling little Kit.

He also shared a sweet mother-son moment of Sophie breastfeeding the tot in the hospital, while thanking people for the ‘kind messages’ in the caption.
Jake, who admitted the family was ‘enjoying the baby bubble’, penned his latest post: ‘Baby boy is home safe and comfortable. We were home the same day like four hours after.
‘Soph amazes me. Sophie is doing well she won’t put Kit down but I think she’s enjoying her cuddles, I’m finding it a little different to first time around, as I don’t want Leo to think we are leaving him out and he’s a little overwhelmed so we are doing a lot doing together!!
‘Today we went swimming and smyths and he bought a toy for Kit then we had some chicken nuggets and went home and watched wicked for the 3rd time in two days.
‘All very tired but enjoying the baby bubble. Thanks for all the kind messages and wishes of congratulations, always appreciated. ❤️’

The sweet video sees baby Kit bundled up in a white towel and blue knitted hat while mum Sophie, 31, cradles him in her arms.
She is then seen breastfeeding her newborn while enjoying a well-earned piece of toast.
The thrilled parents are then seen doting on their little one as they clutched onto his hands before Jake proceeded to dress Kit.
The video later shows TV personality Jake shirtless as he rocked his son in his arms, with Jake no doubt preparing or having done some skin-to-skin time with his boy.
The special post was met with a plethora of congratulatory messages from his fans and showbiz pals.
Sophie and Jake previously revealed they were pregnant after a ‘long time of trying’ and took to Instagram with an emotional montage of the family learning the happy news.
Overcome with emotion he wiped tears from his eyes when he was told while pregnant Sophie presented their shocked sons with an Ultrasound scan.
The ex I’m A Caleb campmate captioned the post: ‘WE HAVE NEWS…. soon to be five. We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world’.
