Paris Hilton made an emotional return to the charred remains of her Malibu beach house which was destroyed in the catastrophic fires throughout Southern California.
It comes just one day after insiders told TMZ that the house had ‘burned to a crisp’ and the star herself revealed she saw the property ‘burn to the ground on live TV.’
The TV personality, 43, had purchased the two-story residence in 2021 for $8.4 million – and once led down to La Costa beach.
Hilton shared a heartbreaking video to her Instagram page on Thursday as she discovered what was left of the property and got candid about being left in ‘complete shock.’
She filmed the clip while walking through the remains of the entrance which was still standing, but then revealed that the rest of the house had been reduced to a pile of rubble after being destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire.
Paris wrote, ‘I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable.’
‘When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock – I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.’

The star expressed that the home ‘wasn’t just a place to live – It was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family.’
‘It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words.’
Hilton added that her heart continues to break ‘knowing that this isn’t just my story.’
‘So many people have lost everything. It’s not just walls and roofs – it’s the memories that made those houses homes. It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives.’
But despite dealing with ‘pain’ over losing the home, Paris shared that she still felt ‘incredibly lucky’ and added, ‘My loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe.’
‘That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have. And beyond grateful to all the the fire fighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires.’
Paris wrote that the ‘love, prayers and kindness’ she has received reminded her that ‘there is still beauty in this world.’

The Eaton fire near the Altadena and Pasadena area has taken down between 4,000 to 5,000 structures as of Thursday.
Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley stated, ‘The Palisades fire is one of the most destructive natural disasters in the history of Los Angeles.’
The catastrophic fires – which began on Tuesday amid strong Santa Ana winds – have forced around 180,000 people from their homes across Southern California, per NBC News.
Residents including Anthony Hopkins, Tina Knowles, Jeff Bridges, Miles Teller and John Goodman have also lost their homes in the fires.
On Wednesday, Paris bundled her ‘babies’ into a car and fled her Malibu mansion in the middle of the night before the wildfires burnt her home to the ground.
She shared a video on X of her dogs in the back of her car as she packed up to evacuate the dangerous situation and head to a hotel.
The clip showed her animals all gathered together on the backseat as she described running around her home to find each of her pets.
Hilton said, ‘Okay we found everyone – we are packing up the car and getting ready to go to the hotel.’
‘Everyone make sure to care for your pets and just praying for everyone’s safety. Okay we’re going to get out of here.’

‘It’s so big, it’s so red. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone tonight. I’m really praying it stops soon.’
She added: ‘Driving out of my house on to Mulholland. I’ve never seen anything like this.’
Later Paris shared an update and reassured fans they were safe, saying: ‘So we made it down the mountain, stopping at the gas station – the puppies are scared. You can smell all the fire down here. I’m just glad we’re all safe.’

‘This home was where we built so many precious memories,’ Hilton said. ‘It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.’
She continued, ‘While the loss is overwhelming, I’m holding onto gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires.
‘To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses.’
Paris said that ‘the devastation is unimaginable’ and ‘to know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.’
She added that members of her 11:11 Media Impact Team were ‘reaching out to nonprofit organizations today to figure out how we can best support the communities impacted by these fires’ and remain ‘committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most.’
Paris then shared, ‘To the brave firefighters and first responders risking their lives to protect us – you are true heroes.’
‘I am so grateful for your courage, dedication, and the incredible sacrifices you’re making to save lives and fight this unimaginable battle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.’

Sources told TMZ that the home burned in the blaze was not the ‘main residence’ the hotel heiress lives in, as she owns ‘multiple properties,’ including a mansion in Beverly Hills.
