Sonu Nigam has collaborated with music composer AR Rahman so many times. The musical duo has blessed us with memorable tracks to cherish for life. Together, the singer-musician creates magic with their talent. But in real life, it looks like their equation is different. While they are thorough professionals, the Saathiya singer recently revealed that Rahman is not at all friendly.
In an interview, the Satrangi Re singer shared that AR Rahman doesn’t have relationships and he is not that kind of person who keeps one. Rahman doesn’t open up to anyone and at least Sonu Nigam has not seen that. The singer told O2 India, “Perhaps, he opens up in front of his older friends, who have known him as Dileep. But I haven’t seen him opening up or having any relationship with anybody. He is not a friendly person. He is just into his work.”
Further in this entertainment news, Sonu Nigam recalled their USA tour, in which all they did was share pleasantries. Sonu stated that the Oscar-winning music composer doesn’t know how to gossip and that’s not his drawback. Rahman doesn’t know anything about Sonu or anyone else, as the composer doesn’t want anyone to know about him as well. The singer called Rahman a ‘unique personality’.
Further, Sonu praised AR Rahman and said, “He does his work and his prayer. He doesn’t behave badly with anyone. He will not hurt anybody’s heart. He won’t speak ill about anyone. He is detached from all of this. He must be attached to his family but I haven’t seen him being very friendly with others,” he noted. “He doesn’t let anyone come close to him. That’s how it should be.”
