Emotional Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend have taken refuge in a hotel with their four kids and pets after evacuating their $17.5million Beverly Hills home.
The 39-year-old cookbook author is among the more than 100,000 residents of the City of Angels forced to flee their homes due to the multiple fires burning uncontrollably around the Greater Los Angeles area.
On Wednesday she shared that she was packing to leave and soon after shared a series of videos from a hotel after leaving home with children Luna Simone, Miles Theodore, Esti Maxine, and Wren Alexander.
She penned: ‘4 kids, 4 dogs and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel’ as the pooches ran around the room.
Her and her husband John Legend were sat on the hotel beds as they waited to find out if the fire spread to near their home.
She shares several clips on her Story with the family’s bearded dragon Sebastian and told her fans that they couldn’t have left him at home.

Earlier in the day she shared that she was packing to leave the house.
‘This is surreal,’ she captioned a mirror selfie from her closet as she held her hand in front of her mouth. ‘I’m very scared now. Packing.’
The mother-of-four stood next to a black suitcase and was presumably gathering her most cherished belongings before fleeing.
In an earlier post on her Instagram Story, she admitted to being at a loss for words as she described the out-of-control wildfires as a ‘hellscape.’
‘We are ok as of right now, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don’t who are not ok,’ she wrote. ‘Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now, please send anything you see.
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl concluded her post by writing: ‘And God bless the firefighters and all first responders.’
Teigen was leaving her $17.5 Beverly Hills mansion, which she and Legend purchased in 2020.
In August 2023, the couple, who married in 2013, shared photos of their stunning renovations as they opened their doors for Architectural Digest.

‘We love how open it feels, and how it’s so connected to the outdoors,’ Legend said of their place, before explaining that their last home was ‘darker and more cloistered, like a sanctuary.’
He continued: ‘We were attracted to this place because of its lightness and airiness… We wanted to create something magical, especially for the kids.’
Since the fires broke out, a number of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities have been left picking up the pieces after their affluent neighborhoods were reduced to ash and rubble.
The death toll of the historic infernos have now reached five, as heroic firefighters still battle hellish conditions on the front lines of at least five different fires.
The homes of Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman and Miles Teller are among those destroyed, while dozens of other stars now face an anxious wait alongside their neighbors to learn if anything could be saved.
Paris Hilton also lost her waterfront Malibu home, which she revealed she learned burned to the ground on live television.
‘Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,’ the socialite, 43, said on X/Twitter, accompanied by a clip from KABC depicting the damage.
This Is Paris star – who shares two one-year-old children with husband Carter Reum, 43, son Phoenix Barron and daughter London Marilyn – said she was ‘heartbroken beyond words’ amid the damaging wildfires.
‘This home was where we built so many precious memories,’ Hilton said. ‘It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.’
She continued, ‘While the loss is overwhelming, I’m holding onto gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires.
‘To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses.’
Hilton said that ‘the devastation is unimaginable’ and ‘to know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.’
Hilton said members of her 11:11 Media Impact Team were ‘reaching out to nonprofit organizations today to figure out how we can best support the communities impacted by these fires’ and remain ‘committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most.’
She added, ‘To the brave firefighters and first responders risking their lives to protect us – you are true heroes.
‘I am so grateful for your courage, dedication, and the incredible sacrifices you’re making to save lives and fight this unimaginable battle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
Hilton encouraged her followers to ‘stay safe and follow evacuation orders’ amid the trying time, as ‘you never know when everything could change.

Sources told TMZ that the home burned in the blaze was not the ‘main residence’ the hotel heiress lives in, as she owns ‘multiple properties,’ including a mansion in Beverly Hills.
Anna Faris; Adam Brody and Leighton Meester; Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag; James Woods; Eugene Levy; Miles and Keleigh Teller and John Goodman also lost their homes to the fires.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Hamill and Mandy Moore were among the celebrities who said they had to evacuate their homes.
