Salim Khan’s throwback interview
However, a throwback video of his father, Salim Khan is now going viral where he is seen talking about why his son, Salman did not get married. In an interview with Komal Nahta, Salim Khan said that there is a contradiction in Salman’s thinking, which is one of the reasons why he’s not married. He shared that Salman is mostly attracted to the heroines he works with as they work together for a long time and are good looking people.
But, when Salman Khan gets into a relationship with an actress, he tries to see his mother in them. Salim Khan explained that it is wrong of Salman to expect that a career-oriented woman to let go of her ambitions and do only household work.
He further shared, “Jab commitment ho jaata hai toh voh usko convert karne ki koshish karta hai, usme apni maa dhoondta hai. Voh toh possible nahi hai.” He also said that it is wrong to expect from a working woman to do daily activities like taking kids to school, helping in cleaning and cooking daily meals.
