There are no reality stars in the castle this time around. The Traitors: New Blood brings 22 civilians to Scotland for a new take on the Emmy-winning competition, with Alan Cumming once again serving as host. The contestants will compete for up to $250,000 while trying to determine which members of their group are secretly working as Traitors.
The series kicks off with an extended two-episode premiere on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, available to stream live via DirecTV (with a five-day free trial), Fubo (with a five-day free trial), Sling and Hulu + Live TV.
This new rendition of Traitors marks the first time the show doesn’t air exclusively on Peacock. Still, new episodes will be available on the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service on a one-day delay (Fridays). While the service doesn’t offer a free trial of its own, viewers can claim two complimentary months of Peacock with any of DirecTV’s Signature packages, which also offer the aforementioned five-day free trial period — more on this option below.

What to Know About The Traitors: New Blood: Synopsis
The premise remains familiar: The contestants are secretly divided into Faithfuls and Traitors, with the Faithfuls trying to identify and banish the Traitors before they are eliminated themselves. Players also compete in missions that build the season’s prize fund, which can reach $250,000. The Faithfuls share the money if they successfully eliminate every Traitor. But if even one Traitor reaches the end of the game, the Traitor takes the prize.
For New Blood, the format gets a civilian makeover. Instead of the reality stars and celebrities who have populated earlier U.S. seasons, the new cast consists entirely of people without previous television experience.
Also new for this season is the launch The Traitors‘ first online casino game, Filthy Riches. The Traitors Faithful Riches will be available on the BetMGM Casino app in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Alberta and Ontario and also at Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Who is in The Traitors: New Blood Cast?
The 22 contestants include Abbey Benjamin, a nurse; Abby Lee, an astrophysicist; Arisa Thomas, a dog groomer; Ben McDonnell, a barrel racer; Clyde Moser, a teacher; Jay Vinnedge, a physician; Joe Vanella, a funeral director; Katie Fites, a marketing manager; Kim Daily and Michael Foote, both lawyers; Kriste Lewis and Logan Smith, both realtors; Madeline Kostopulos, a construction manager; Mark Zgoda, a personal trainer; Morgan Cook, a content creator; Niyyah Bilal Hayes, a therapist; Shane Beatty, an ironworker; Sherry Kuehl, a writer; Tomica Adams, a pilot; Victor Vollbrechthausen, a business executive; Wyatt Gillespie, a designer; and Xavier Scruggs, an MLB analyst.
