And the 2026 Emmy winners are…
The Emmy Awards are once again delivering on the promise of the most glamorous night in television on Monday evening.
Held at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Monday, the annual ceremony honors the best in TV, from its stars to its directors and beyond — many of whom packed into the iconic venue to find out which nominees would ultimately nab the coveted trophies.
“Law & Order: SVU” actress Mariska Hargitay, who won two Emmys for her documentary “My Mom Jayne” earlier this month, kicked off the show as this year’s host with a hilarious opening monologue — with a cameo by New York Knicks star and BFF Jalen Brunson before the awards started flowing.
Max’s medical drama “The Pitt” and beloved comedy series “Hacks” lead the nominations, with 25 and 24 nods respectively. Apple TV’s freshman hit “Widow’s Bay” rounds out the top three with 19 nominations.
This year’s ceremony made waves for cutting several major categories from the big telecast and for delivering a healthy amount of both snubs and surprises in the nominations.
