Dylan Wang is expanding his streetwear brand D.Desirable outside of China and is reportedly opening his first store at new shopping mall Chinatown 1974 in Kuala Lumpur (KL).
The 27-year-old Chinese actor, known for his performances in dramas including Love Between Fairy and Devil (2022) and Guardians of the Dafeng (2025), raised speculation among netizens in August when his Weibo IP address showed he was in Malaysia.
On Sept 4, Chinatown 1974 posted about their upcoming grand opening on social media. They also tagged several businesses in the mall.
Although D.Desirable wasn’t one of them, sharp-eyed netizens spotted the brand logo in the photo in the post, creating buzz among Dylan’s fans, also known as Xiong Di Huo, that the fashion label is setting up there.
Several photos of Dylan outside Chinatown 1974 also emerged on social media the same day, where he was purportedly visiting his boutique that was undergoing renovation works in August.
In the photos, he was seen dressed in a black and white collared jersey from his own brand.
He also posted photos of his KL trip on Weibo on Sept 6 and wrote in the caption: I had fun.”

Dylan founded D.Desirable in 2022 and currently has two stores in China, one in Shanghai and the other in Guangzhou.
The brand made its international debut in Singapore in January, when it opened a pop-up store in Ion Orchard featuring exclusive Singapore-inspired merchandise. It closed on Feb 25.
Malaysian content creator Johntalkcoffeetea, who visited Chinatown 1974 on the grand opening day, spotted Dylan’s autograph on a wooden slab in Xi Ju Charcoal Hotpot restaurant, located on level two of the eight-storey building.
It dated the latter’s visit on Aug 14.
He also visited the site of the alleged new D.Desirable store, which is located at the basement of the mall and is still under renovation.
“This is the fashion boutique opened by an A-list Chinese celebrity. The workers are still rushing to meet the [construction] deadline. You will know which celebrity it is once the store opens,” he said.
