Thai actress Lingling Kwong has been named The Most Beautiful Woman Alive 2026 by Netizens Choice after receiving more than 22 million votes.
Pop culture publication Netizens Choice conducted a global survey over several months and votes were from fans and internet users around the world, reported Khaosod English. The results were announced on Aug 17.
It is reportedly the 31-year-old’s first time earning the global title. She succeeded Turkish actress Sila Turkoglu, who is placed second in this year’s ranking.
The rest of the top 10, in descending order, are Turkish actress Yagmur Yuksel, Thai actress Orm Kornnaphat, Turkish actress Su Burcu Yazgi Coskun, Chinese actresses Bai Lu and Dilraba Dilmurat, Turkish actress Ilsu Demirci, American actress Scarlett Johansson and Turkish actress Cemre Arda.
The nominee list also included celebrities Zhao Lusi, Blackpink’s Jisoo, Kim Yoo-jung, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Alba.
Lingling, whose father is from Hong Kong and mother from Thailand, also took the top spot in Netizens Choice’s Most Beautiful Thai Actresses 2026 ranking, with more than 10 million votes, and Orm, 24, is placed second.
She is best known for her roles in the girls’ love (GL) drama series The Secret of Us (2024) and Only You (2025), which also starred Orm.
Lingling visited Singapore twice this year. In February, she attended the LingOrm Only Love fan-meet with Orm. She returned on March 12 for the launch of homegrown lifestyle brand Sinnkawa’s Sun-Tanned Merlion plush toy.
