The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Dakota Mortensen went Instagram official with Shinia Powell – nine months after their illicit hook-up caused drama.
The 33-year-old reality star and the 29-year-old influencer hard launched their relationship with a PDA-filled Instagram slideshow she captioned: ‘Soaking up our last bit of summer.’
Mortensen and Powell, who allegedly began dating in April, were all smiles while enjoying an excursion in the woods after attending a minor-league baseball game in South Jordan, Utah on July 23.
The ex-friend of Miranda Hope also included several snaps of her daughter Sophia, six, and son Beckham, five – hinting she felt comfortable enough to have them around the Basin Tiling owner.
Powell welcomed the children during her prior marriage to real estate agent McKoy Allred.
‘Shinia has been a steady source of support for Dakota through some incredibly difficult times, especially when he did not have immediate family nearby,’ a source told People on July 22.

On October 14, Mortensen’s babymama Taylor Frankie Paul publicly labeled Powell a ‘snake’ via Instagram story after discovering she was ‘sleeping with my babydaddy’ while ‘crying to me because she got dumped by a married man.’
The former real estate agent responded the next day: ‘If you have a problem with me, call me. If you don’t have my number, then that means you don’t know me well enough to have a problem.’
The love triangle was confirmed during TSLOMW’s fourth season finale when the 6-foot-2 Idaho native reunited with Powell at a Halloween party.
‘I do just want to say sorry for everything that I did. I know that caused a lot of problems,’ Mortensen told the disgraced 32-year-old via FaceTime on the Hulu show.
‘I’m sorry for hooking up with Shinia. Was it dumb of me? Yes. Could I have picked someone else? Yes. I picked somebody that was obviously going to come with problems, and that was very s****y of me to do.’
Meanwhile, Paul revealed she was ‘celibate’ in a July 23 TikTok video with their two-year-old son Ever after a judge granted her visitation rights with the toddler.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has officially been renewed by Hulu for a 20-episode sixth season ahead of the postponed fifth season airing.
