Lana Del Rey gave fans a rare look at her surprisingly low-key married life with husband Jeremy Dufrene ahead of the couple’s two-year wedding anniversary.
The Born To Die hitmaker, 41, made headlines when she tied the knot with Dufrene – a 51-year-old alligator swamp tour guide from Louisiana – after just a few months of dating in September 2024.
While he has joined her at a handful of red carpet events in recent months, Del Rey has mostly kept their relationship out of the public eye.
But on Wednesday, she proudly flaunted her love for Dufrene in a rare Instagram post featuring photos and videos taken during the couple’s recent Fourth of July celebrations in Santa Monica, California.
Del Rey, who has nearly 25 million followers, smiled sweetly in one clip as Dufrene stood behind the singer with his arms wrapped around her waist.
The clip cuts off just as the couple were about to kiss with the Santa Monica pier, including the iconic glowing ferris wheel, as their backdrop.

It appears that Del Rey, who was born and raised in New York, and Dufrene celebrated the holiday with friends.
The couple appeared in a mirror selfie along with two gray-haired individuals – neither of which looked like Del Rey’s parents – as well as a petite brunette.
Del Rey snapped the photo of her iPhone while Dufrene leaned up against her as the couple and their pals waited for an elevator at their hotel.
Del Rey also captured her husband helping set up a table of Fourth of July themed food and desserts, including an American flag cake, inside their room.
The couple decorated the space with red, white and blue balloons, a white floral bouquet and a patriotic duck figurine.
Del Rey and her Fourth of July crew headed to Santa Monica beach in the evening to catch the city’s epic firework show, which attracts thousands of people each year.
They hung out in the sand, with Del Rey filming the colorful explosions in the sky on her iPhone before briefly – and very quickly – turning the camera on Dufrene.
Also included in her Instagram slideshow was a short clip of Del Rey, clad in Daisy Dukes, a white crop top and a furry leopard Chanel purse, cradling her and Dufrene’s Bengal cat.

Another clip, captured by Del Rey, showed the star rocking a pair of camo-print boots by Ralph Lauren that fans know she has been obsessing over for months.
While most of the content of Del Rey’s post focused on her recent holiday with Dufrene, the caption had an exciting reveal as the singer confirmed that her long-awaited album Stove will soon be released.
As if that weren’t exciting enough, she teased that she is also releasing a companion record – titled Spyda – that was spawned out of her four-year journey bringing Stove to life.
Stove is the follow-up to Del Rey’s critically acclaimed ninth studio album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which was released in 2023.
‘So much has happened over the last four years, so much time waiting for things to come together and so much time wondering if it was ok that things were falling apart,’ Del Rey began.
‘Patience was the key, and in between the songs came new thoughts about old friends and new dreams and from the doubt of whether the tree I had been planting would grow- came new sprouts and so grew a new rose bush underneath the willow-…A large companion album, compiled by as many people as I could find to help me gather my thoughts about how much was changing.’
Del Rey reassured fans that Stove ‘s so lovely and intact as it was intended to be-a classic album if I may say, a lot of of which we’ve toured and you’ve heard – but not all of it.’
She then thanked ‘everybody involved’ in the creation process before further teasing Stove’s ‘companion’ album.

‘And as the years went by, came a beautiful, secondary album… A commentary of sorts on everything that has been going on, and the patience that was required- and the trust I had to have that not all the things that weren’t working was just because of me.
‘I’m grateful for all my collaborators, I guess it took what it took to finish it.’
Getting real with fans after having previously delayed Stove several times over the years, Del Rey shared that she needs ‘a month to finish putting it together, and then send my two albums to vinyl’ before it can be released.
‘Thank you for waiting. It certainly is two of my most beautiful pieces of work, rooted in what I thought would be made out of growth and joy but was peppered with a secondary compilation of songs that sprouted from doubt, hopefulness, and the understanding that new beginnings truly mean starting completely fresh and over.
‘When life decides to send you down another river, it’s really not your choice and it’s truly an adventure of its own. I wrote about it. Now it’s time to trust the process and go downstream.’
Del Rey closed out her lengthy caption by expressing her gratitude to fans and joking that she ‘understands’ if some have fallen out of love with her amid the release date drama surrounding Stove.

‘I’m so grateful to everyone who’s still on board with me. And of course, I wish the best to everyone who stayed on land. Of course I understand. Just kidding. I thought we were in the boat together.’
To tide her fans over until they can get their hands on her two new bodies of work, Del Rey appeared to share album art for both Stove and its companion album.
Stove leans into Del Rey’s elegant side as she’s pictured in a white vintage dress and surrounded by purple and green floral artwork.
Meanwhile, the cover for Spyda is a clearly inspired by her husband’s rustic Louisiana lifestyle as it features photography of what looks to be a amphibious boat resting in the dirt.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Del Rey’s representatives for comment on this story but has yet to hear back.
