Brooke Shields turned 61 on May 31, but had a late celebration on Tuesday night with her daughters and close friends.
Publicist Anna Rothschild and IE Group’s Jeff Krauss hosted Shields and her crew of eight for dinner at Zoi Nomad, where she reminisced over photos of her career, which were plastered over her birthday cake.
Shields arrived to the restaurant at around 7 p.m. with her pal Beth Stern, college friends, and her daughters Grier and Rowan Henchy.
Their feast included caviar, citrus tartare, sushi, grilled branzino and crispy zucchini chips.
The restaurant surprised the former Calvin Klein model with the cake adorned with images of her Harper’s Bazaar covers, scenes from “Blue Lagoon,” a shot of her with Andy Warhol, and family photos that her husband Chris Henchy took of their daughters.
“She was genuinely surprised and touched by the tribute. She reminisced about each image, and shared stories behind them,” a souce told Page Six.
“She looked amazing, elegant as always. You could see her lighting up as she went through the photos,” they added.
Shields recently said that au naturale and keeping a sharp mind are her secret to maintaining her supermodel looks as she navigates her seventh decade. Days before she hit 61, Shields told People magazine beauty means more to her than just having a pretty face.
“For me, beauty meant being smart and being strong but I acknowledge that there are changes. I fully understand that beauty is so much more than just not having wrinkles,” she said.
Shields also said that she works out and get face peels, but hasn’t taken the surgery route yet.
“It seems tempting but I’m too scared!” she added.
The birthday girl kept the celebration going with her daughters downstairs at the restaurant’s Ten11 nightclub, where they sipped cocktails and danced until midnight.
