Hollyoaks star Jessamy Stoddart has announced she’s given birth to her second child, just days after fans saw her character exit the soap.
The actress, 32, has taken a break from her role as Liberty Savage in the soap, and on Monday she shared the news she’d welcomed a daughter with her husband Ryan.
Jessamy shared radiant snaps of herself cradling her baby girl, along with the caption: ‘She’s here. All 9lb 6 of her.
‘I got the VBAC water birth of my dreams & it was EUPHORIC ✨ I feel like I won the midwife lottery & had the unwavering support of Ryan, as always. Floating on clouds right now with my two little ladies.’
Jessamy’s fans rushed to congratulate her, writing: ‘Ahhh how beautiful you both look, congratulations. I’m so happy for you all. I hope you are all keeping well. Sending my best wishes to you all;’

Last week, viewers saw Jessamy’s character Liberty bid farewell to the Hollyoaks village for a new life in New Zealand, but it’s thought the actress will return in the future following her maternity leave.
Jessamy and Ryan, who married in 2021, are already proud parents to a daughter, born in 2023.
The soap star first shared in December that she was expecting her second child, as she debuted her growing bump on Instagram.
Jessamy wrote: ‘So incredibly lucky to be growing a little brother or sister for Joni’.
The actress also shared a snap of a bauble on a Christmas tree which was engraved with: ‘Baby O’Gorman. Due May 2026.’
Friends and fellow soap stars took to the comments section to congratulate the couple on the happy news.
Jessamy welcomed her daughter Joni in January 2023 and at the time opened up about her and husband Ryan’s difficult journey to becoming parents.
Introducing her little girl to the world, Jessamy penned on her Instagram post: ‘Our little girl Joni Drew O’Gorman 04/01/2023 8lb4.

Jessamy and her husband married in November 2021 in a winter wonderland wedding after Ryan popped the question in December 2020.
The actress shared a slew of stunning snaps from their big day which was held at Iscoyd Park, a country house on the borders of North Wales, with several romantic outside shots of them kissing in the snow.
During the ceremony, Jessamy wowed in an elegant ivory high neck bridal gown, which showcased her svelte physique and featured puff semi-sheer sleeves.
Jessammy wore her glossy raven tresses loose and sported a flowing veil atop her head, while opting for a classy, neutral pallet of make-up.
Her new husband looked dapper in a black suit and white shirt, which he wore with a grey bow tie and sported a floral button hole.
After leaving the church the couple were greeted by their loved ones who threw confetti over them as they departed together.
They are then seen in a twinkly garden as they kiss, dance and pose for wedding photography together.
Following a change of outfit, they later took to the dancefloor at the reception with their guests, where Jessamy changed into an incredible sequin gown.
Jessamy’s Hollyoaks’ character Liberty has faced a number of a hard-hitting storylines including giving birth to baby Faith.
Liberty developed symptoms of postpartum psychosis and began having vivid hallucinations of her deceased niece Nico Blake.
Postpartum psychosis is a serious mental health condition that causes new mothers to experience delusions and hallucinations, affecting around one-to-two in every 1,000 births.
In the soap, Liberty battled her mental health and did a runner with her child after being told to do so by the visions of Nico, played by Persephone Swales-Dawson.
Her daughter had become extremely unwell but was commanded by Nico not to seek medical help for Faith.
But after assistance from her sister Sienna Blake, played by Anna Passey, she agreed to seek help for her mental health struggles and is admitted to hospital.
