Jeremy Clarkson is given a sobering health update by doctors after admitting himself to hospital in a first look at the forthcoming fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm.
Streaming giant Amazon Prime has confirmed the latest series fifth will premiere on June 3, with episodes one to four available that day, followed by five and six on June 10, and episodes seven and eight on June 17.
A first trailer was released on Monday, with Clarkson, 66, reflecting on his own mortality after being warned to take a break by concerned doctors.
The TV personality had previously claimed he was ‘days from death’ after falling ill with excruciating chest pains at his Cotswolds home in 2024.
He was subsequently rushed to nearby John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford by ambulance, where doctors discovered one of his arteries was ‘completely blocked.’
Discussing the unsettling incident with Diddly Squat farmhand Kaleb Cooper in Monday’s trailer, Clarkson said: ‘You’ve got three arteries in your heart to keep it pumping, my heart was not getting any blood.’

Clarkson also admits his “doctor wants him to stop talking, and Amazon want him to stop talking” – but discussions about health appear to be the least of his concerns as he tackles a new driverless tractor and an invasion of travellers at his local pub.
Clarkson’s Farm, which follows former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson run his farm Diddly Squat in the Cotswolds, first hit Amazon Prime in 2021.
The show has become a huge hit and gone on to have four successful series.
Series five was announced back in December 2024, followed by filming last year and wrapping up in February 2026.
Fans of the documentary series can expect a lot over the next eight episodes of the show – including following Jeremy through a health scare, as well as looking after his new animals AND the pub.
The official press release states: ‘The new series of Clarkson’s Farm opens with Jeremy stricken by a major health scare, leaving him under strict doctors’ orders to take it easy. But rest isn’t an option.
‘A new flock of Easy Care sheep arrives to help lighten the load, however the pub’s ongoing issues, its first festive season to navigate, and a government budget that has sent shockwaves through the UK farming community makes slowing down impossible.
‘A visit to the UK’s biggest agricultural expo inspires him to take the farm hi-tech, resulting in a baffled Kaleb taking his first journey abroad – a road trip to the Netherlands – where cutting-edge farms seal the deal and the rise of the machines begins.
‘Back at Diddly Squat, fields are scanned with lasers and robot tractors take charge, as Clarkson’s Farm shows what the future of farming could look like, if that future was run by an impatient 65-year-old and his antagonistic young farm manager.
‘In the climactic episodes, things turn dark as bad luck strikes from every direction, causing massive upset and tension in every way possible.’
Clarkson’s Farm fans don’t have long to wait until the much-loved show is back on our screens
The fifth series will premiere on June 3 2026, with episodes one to four available on that date, followed by five and six on June 10, followed by seven and eight on June 17
