Sacha Baron Cohen reunited with co-star Rosamund Pike for the premiere of their gender-reversal rom-com Ladies First on Sunday, after the film’s first teaser was skewered by fans as the ‘the worst trailer I’ve ever seen.’
The actor has swapped zany characters for an unlikely role as a misogynistic CEO, who awakens to find his life upended in a parallel world dominated by women.
Sacha, 53, himself has raised eyebrows after being pictured enjoying a date with OnlyFans model Hannah Palmer, 27, weeks after he finalised his divorce from actress Isla Fisher last year.
Last year, the Borat star was snapped with social media star Kelsey Calemine, 26, who is 28 years his junior.
But Sacha was solely focused on promoting his new role as he joined Rosamund for the premiere at London’s Ham Yard Hotel, ahead of the film’s release on Netflix on May 22.
Rosamund, who plays an overworked assistant-turned-CEO in the film, caught the eye in a fun silver dress as she posed with Sacha and the film’s cast.

The trailer caused a huge stir when it was released last month, with some fans blasting the film as being simply about ‘toxic masculinity,’ while others pointed out its similarities to the Noughties hit What Women Want.
They said: ‘Could have been cool if they thought seriously about what a matriarchy could have realistically looked like rather than just making it revolve around male microaggressions done by women (pretty face, smile more etc);’
‘What’s that? A preachy flick about toxic masculinity? How stunning. Much brave!;’
‘Parallel world… same reconciliation problems… universally relatable;’
‘Would have been relevant 30 years ago…;’
‘Genuinely might be the worst trailer I’ve ever seen. Rosamund Pike’s agent needs to be jailed;’
‘Thanks for reminding me how smart it was to cancel Netflix forever;’
‘I don’t think it is possible to make a more cringe version of What Women Want. At best this would be a lateral move;’
‘What Women Want did this way better 20 something years ago;’
It comes after Isla revealed how she has spent the last two years since her split from Sacha focusing on work and herself.

The former couple first met at a party in Sydney in 2001, with Sacha later admitting he had fallen for Isla quickly after realising she was ‘hilarious’.
They tied the knot nine years later and welcomed three children, before announcing last year that they’d ‘quietly separated’ in 2023.
Sacha’s approach to single life though has so far been in stark contrast to Isla’s.
Only three months after the exes confirmed their divorce was complete, it was reported the Borat star had moved on with a younger model – Hannah Palmer, 27.
Then in November, the actor was snapped with social media star Kelsey Calemine, 26, who is 28 years his junior.
Speaking to NewBeauty Isla said: ‘It has been a really challenging time. I definitely feel like there’s something about the divorce club that anyone in it understands in a way other people don’t. It’s a different grief.’
Switching to a more uplifting outlook, Isla added: ‘I feel like creating a new identity after your divorce is so fun, though. You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self.’
She explained that she’s enjoying having the headspace and time to focus on herself.
‘It’s a lot like that, reconnecting to maybe passions you had when you were a kid, but they fell by the wayside when you were raising a family,’ she said.
‘All the relationships that you have in your life that were not necessarily the forefront of the way that you spend your time, because you’re married.
‘Those relationships that are so supportive and brilliant and often really, really old get to retake centre stage. I think that’s a really exciting thing.’
Isla added: ‘There are lots of positives that have come about from all this – like self-exploration and just trying to be kind to myself.
‘I can just give myself grace whenever I like. That’s all I’m trying to do.’
Last year, Isla admitted she is not looking to date again anytime soon in the wake of her divorce.
‘That’s not on my to-do list. I’m not ready to think about any of that,’ she told The Sunday Times, explaining her own parents separated when she was nine years old and admitting their peaceful arrangement was what she now strives for.
