Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made his Met Gala debut on Monday looking like a million bucks — over $3 million, to be precise.
The actor hit the red carpet in a dapper black skirted tuxedo designed by Thom Browne, an eye-catching diamond watch peeking out from under his cuff.
Johnson’s timepiece, aptly named the Billionaire III, was designed by NYC-based jeweler Jacob & Co. and boasts a staggering $3.3 million price tag.
“It’s literally massive,” Johnson’s stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, told GQ of the watch, quipping that the 6-foot, 5-inch actor “is the only person who could pull off that size.”
Indeed, the Billionaire III measures 54 millimeters — far larger than most men’s timepieces, which are typically between 36 and 40 millimeters.
That real estate’s necessary, however, when you consider the 129.61 carats of diamonds covering the design: 714 in total, 504 of which are on the bracelet alone.
Other famous fans of Jacob & Co.’s iced-out timepieces include Tom Brady, DJ Khaled, Benny Blanco and Rihanna.
This isn’t the first time one of the jeweler’s Billionaire watches has appeared at the Met Gala; Usher wore a $5 million ruby version in 2024, and Maluma opted for the emerald iteration last year.
Perhaps we’ll see the sapphire Billionaire at next year’s ball.
