Terry Crews’ wife, Rebecca King-Crews, revealed her Parkinson’s disease diagnosis on the “Today” show Monday.
The 60-year-old was diagnosed back in 2015 but decided to “come forward now” because she recently underwent a procedure “to help with the symptoms on one side of [her] body.”
She gushed, “I’m seeing improvement. … I’m able to write my name, my dates, I’m able to write with my right hand for the first time in probably three years.”
The singer will “still [be] in recovery” for three months and continue to see improvement, with a second procedure scheduled for September for the other side of her body.
She, notably, beat stage 1 breast cancer in 2020.
